Kanemura was pretty surprised when his mother, Misako, remarried a few years ago. While his new stepfather is kind enough, his new stepbrother Yuusuke is a spoiled brat and a clingy momma's boy. While the family looks happy on the surface, there’s a silent change happening that will shock Kanemura.
I bought this not knowing exactly what I was expecting, but I ended up quite enjoying this story. The author makes use of an increased number of pages over what is common for a doujinshi in order to give breathing space to the storytelling. I didn't feel that the story was forcefully being rushed at any part, and everything flowed naturally. As I read each page, I wanted to know what was going to happen next, not something I usually experience when reading hentai.
The art style is also certainly unique, reminiscent of classic 80s manga. There is also an interesting contrast between highly detailed backgrounds and more roughly-drawn characters on the foreground, somehow creating an effect that makes the drawings feel alive.
I wasn't expecting anything special, but this work really surprised me in a good way. I enjoyed it thoroughly, and I say that as someone who doesn't usually like cheating/netorare. I hope the next parts are published soon!
