While calling itself a "masterpiece" may be a tad ambitious, there's definitely enough here to sink one's teeth into. The sheer absurdity of the premise combined with the variety of "fish" on offer helps this one stand out, even among Flanvia's other absurdist works. The arc between the father and son is surprisingly heartfelt, as well. The progression of a father's tough love giving way to pride in his son's accomplishments may be conventional in other media, but it's rare in H-comics, for whatever reason.
My only real point of criticism for this work is that the specifics of its humor are a bit too niche. The fish connection will certainly be lost on most readers, especially since it seems to depend on a bit of cultural context. It verges on needing to explain the joke, which we all know ruins it. Context clues can only get one so far, after all.
Anyone wanna help chip in?
This chapter had some great X-Eros easter eggs on page 3 of, Comic X-Eros #85 Hentai & Comic X-Eros #87 Hentai and on page 14 of, Comic X-Eros #90 Hentai (bonus, click the link for Comic Eros #90 and hover over the image and you'll get a nice treat, magic)
This chapter is another homerun from flanvia.
After seeing the Oil-Fish I now need a solo dark skin kogal chapter!
