Also, it seems the commentary in this doujin is lost on most. The residents of the high rise are the real villains here. They pretend to be nice, but are really incredibly shallow and morally corrupt. In the end, it's the outsiders, i.e. the struggling couple, who get burned when the wife can't control her desire for status and wealth.

I was waiting to see H-Connoisseur's post about how in Japan you can sue the person your spouse cheated on you with. I don't know what the law is, but I have seen it come up in a couple of manga/anime. Most recently in Dear Sa-Chan on Manga Plus. While hal isn't my cup of tea, I gotta respect writing a cheating story where not only does the cheater get exposed, there's actual consequences for their actions. More cheating/NTR stories could do with that instead of dumb open endings.

Y'know...I've been thinking about this title off and on since it's release and although at first it was refreshing to see a cheating character especially one like Kyouko get their comeuppance, it would ring hollow to say I still feel that what happened was satisfying. First of all, if it wasn't for her scummy rat of an acquaintance giving her the idea in the first place, she would not have become a callgirl behind her husband's back. Second, okay, she was a bitch to pester her husband to rent out a place he couldn't really afford and then cheated on him on top of it and paid heftily for it but she was in no means the only villain in the story. The wives gave their husbands a free pass for cheating with her but dumped on her mightily, as if she did something like hold them at gun point to force them to cheat. Those battleaxes can't possibly be that stupid. And again, there was the skank who introduced her to the street job - she got off scottfree too.
