This series isn't my bag at all, but I'm really, really curious as to how it's going to end. Guessing since she got exiled, some demons find her and make her a baby factory for them?
Exactly my feeling. It started off messed up, got a little interesting, and a bit hot in the middle, but wham, back to "whoa..." mode. I hope Ronny gets retribution on the guys fooling around with Marika.
Those guys have bigger worries regarding their wives than Ronny, methinks. Probably gonna be a *lot* of homeless guys in the village after getting exposed like that(or they end up exiled along with Marika).
@BZo1480 I hope they get retribution too. However, just like the first old guy she fooled around, there are some people like his wife that will put up with a lot bc of circumstance and/or culture so even with this, they'll have the tendency to steer towards being passive and tight-lipped. But yeah, hopefully, the wives will get enough support that they'll be in the position to tell the gump to GTFO.
Well, ouch. The chick at the end was right. They may as well disband the whole town after that. I actually hope she returns to a virtuous path but even if that doesn't happen, I hope it doesn't turn into "Let's blame that whore Marika for everything" misogynist nonsense like other similar story themes. Those dudes stabbed Ronny in the back worse than what the senate conspirators did to Julius Caesar and should be obvious to Ronny that Marika didn't bend their arms.
Probably better to send her to a place where they don't know what happened, than to keep her at a place where they know what happened and they couldn't follow their own rules.
Huh, they actually returned her to the village? I somehow assumed she would be kept to produce more heros in case the present one died. Looking back the church has always kept their word to protect the girls.
I guess now they wanted the village to know how much of an offspring-producing slut they turned her into, showing they got their licky-stampies on her.
Nah, they gave her a tool to reduce her desires until they reached a normal level. She allowed her boyfriends lust and her mental desire to overwhelm her common sense and took it off. As I said the church did their best in a bad situation.
The story synopsis is (politely-speaking) "a far stranger to the truth". And very likely, some might not be capable of handling the conclusion, when it comes.
