Fakku is no better. They insist on tagging cousinly sex as "inseki,"
which is incorrect. Any sexual interaction between (blood-related)
cousins is incest, plain and simple. That applies to any sexual in-
teraction between people who share a blood bond. When Yuuma
(inevitably) fucks his (blood-related) aunt in the next chapter, that
will be incest, too.

Inseki applies only to sex between family members with
no blood bond (like in-laws, adoptees, and step-relatives).

Blood relative = incest.
Non-blood relative = inseki.
It's very cut-and-dried.

Some have argued that the definition of "inseki" has expanded
to include incest with any relative outside the immediate family,
but that argument unnecessarily blurs the line between "incest"
and "inseki," so I refuse to accept it.

I'll just say that clear-cut, set-in-stone definitions are completely necessary for effective communication. I hear people say there should be no problem if words are have arbitrary meanings depending on the user's momentary intent or mood. I'm like, "Well how do you know what the hell anybody is saying if nothing that person says has any concrete meaning?" It will obviously and inevitably cause confusion and understandable disagreement to the listening or reading party. Right here is a good example imo.

Well, these days screwing up definitions seems to be an established point of modern 'debate', so I don't think it's too surprising that Fakku would misss the mark. Thanks for the clarification of the term, by the way, before this I'd just assumed they were using it correctly.
