Well hey, Vanilla can taste slightly different in foreign countries, but even then it retains it's natural sweetness!
It's nice to see he worked really hard to learn...Finnish? Basically he worked really hard to learn enough to teach her and it's great to see hard work rewarded.
Great ending too. Yeah, he can teach her Japanese, she can teach him Finnish...That way, there'll be no problem communicating between families when they eventually get married, which I do expect to happen in their future.

Not Finnish, but this reminds me of a slice-of-life manga about a girl who (from my interpretation of the pictures) is obsessed with having the perfect lunch experience... and who is also Norwegian, and she spoke understandable, but broken Norwegian in some of her sentences. (And in some promotional art, she seems to wear bunad as well.)
There's only two chapters of it because the author contracted... cancer I believe, so the manga had to be put on hold. (Forever as it turned out, as he died from it last year.)
