Hmm... i don't know if i would call it vanilla.... The lovey-dovey feeling isn't really here for me... maybe if there was a confession... Well is a good chatper with a great art anyway.
I wouldn't call it vanilla either, not only did she say it's been awhile since she last did it, you could obviously tell she used him since she "settled"... pretty demotivating if you ask me.
From what i saw the "settled" was just to get him going, not really settling. And since about she doing it, they are both adults now so is nothing much, but the thing is that i don't got the feeling that she loves him, maybe is something more subtle? but i didn't felt it so is not vanilla, he is the one that likes her and the way the story goes i don't know if it got to her.
This hit me closer to home than I would have liked. Growing up feeling inadequate to someone else mentally fucks you up good. And that happened to me multiple times to different people. Especially when it came to girls. Feels bad knowing you're always second best.
But the girl was cute and the art was great, all I can say.
True on all counts, @Neah1987. Seems like a more apt title would be 'Retirement'.
Now I would like a story about a retiring cattle hand, who milks the cows, and is milked by the daughter/wife. I could get behind a title of 'Pasteurization' there.
Put out to pasture means to force someone to retire. Basically to dismiss someone, usually due to advanced age. It's just an idiom. And no, you don't generally pasteurize sake. The process of pasteurization was created by Louis Pasteur who boiled milk in order to make sure it didn't make people sick.
Sake is alcoholic. Bacteria wouldn't survive in it, and boiling Sake would remove the alcohol.
I hate this kind of storyline and this one too. Just because she didn't fuck the older brother, doesn't mean she isn't settling or even that she cares for the younger brother.
I don't know if it's just me or the artist's art style changed so much I almost couldn't recognize.
To me, this is 100% vanilla, just not the sweet lovey dovey type, but more adult-like.
Hmm...Vanilla and Osananajimi tag, nice.
"Guess I'll settle for you", eh? I don't blame him for getting riled up (just like she wanted), I mean nobody would like being treated like that.
'It's been awhile since my last time', though? Considering his brother didn't lay a hand on her, that means she did it with other guys, huh. Well, I suppose that's natural, considering our protagonist wasn't around for quite a bit.
It's just...The way she reacts during sex with him and her reasoning for doing this because she 'felt left behind' kind of gives me the impression that maybe she maybe isn't exactly...in love with him? Like maybe he just reminds her of his brother, or something? I don't quite feel much Vanilla here but there is setup and future potential for it, I'd say.
Any chance of a sequel where that might happen?
That's my point. It don't feel like Vanilla, at least for me. More like soothing wounds and the like. Is bittersweet, but more bitter than i would like.
