Given the ending, it does make sense that he set the whole thing up. I was taken aback when he confronted her, it felt nice. The guy definitely knows how to take charge.
Well, she would have deserved that but I'm glad her husband figured out how to make it work. I guess the takeaway from the story is he didn't really know her up until that point and didn't know how she wanted to be treated.
Personally wouldn't have taken her back. That said, considering that he actually used the words "clean you up" when confronting her about the cheating made me feel like this was all his plan to completely win her mind/heart over since her inner thoughts made it seem like that wasn't the case.
I'm not sure how should feel about this one. It's a cheating story but she actually still loved her husband and somehow it's like his husband is the one who planned all this to make sure his wife can get the excitement when they have sex by making her feel guilty and shit... This is pretty new to me, I wonder what would happen when she met satake again, will she cheat again just to make sex with her husband amazing again?
I must say, I found this release very intriguing. It was set up and flowed like any old cheating story that she keeps a secret from her husband...And then he reveals that he knows what she was doing behind his back with a recording. The change in atmosphere for this release came instantly at that moment...
I can at least applaud that she admitted she was wrong and wanted to make it up to him, but was also willing to sign divorce papers if he so wished. But he's a cool guy, so he forgives her...But not without making sure that she will remain faithful to him from now on.
I wonder about that ending though. It had a happy end, she cheated but he forgave her and she's become a more faithful, loving wife than ever before, even with a child...Though whether or not he planned it all out in advance still remains a mystery.
Sounds plausible though, I mean he even managed to obtain a recording, after all.
I think it's more that the husband had no expectation that she would actually be faithful. He married a girl who never really loved him and never was satisfied by him. She married him because he took care of everything and made her life comfortable, and he would listen to whatever demand she made. She was bound to cheat as soon someone made her heart flutter, her desire to he taken care of meant she would easily be seduced.
The husband wants a doll, not a wife. When she was full of guilt over betraying her husband, he used it to take what little control she had in the relationship. He treated her like an actual doll, and she realized she really liked that. Their inner natures naturally align.
The relationship is still messed up, but there is a stability to it.
I'm confused as to how I should feel about the female main character and her situation at the end. However, I'm not confused about this: reading this was extremely cathartic, and therefore, EXTREMELY AWESOME!!
