Sigh, I can only feel bad for the husband to be, supposing she actually keeps quiet and accepts his proposal.
He was a bit indecisive, but for her sake, he decided to buy her a ring and propose to her probably because he realised he loves her enough to want to marry her.
But then she just...went and had sex with so many other men, on the night he was meant to propose to her. While the director is a bit of a hypocrite, saying he feels bad for his subordinate while fucking said cheating girlfriend, what he said about imagining Sakamoto's pain...Yeah, if only he knew.
I can only hope he finds out somehow or if she has enough decency to tell him the truth and just break up, because she really doesn't deserve him, and in a sense, he doesn't deserve a terrible person like her.
Agreed, I feel real bad for the husband to be. But, I also slightly feel bad for the girl. The pained look on her face like she is about to cry, she knows how bad she fucked up.
So I thought the artwork was great, but you're pretty much spot on about the story. Either she's some kind of idiot, or she genuinely felt like getting back at the boyfriend that she essentially dumped in the first few pages because he hadn't proposed to her in their three years of dating... While her frustration is understandable, her actions following that are completely absurd and the boyfriend finally proposing to her at the end is simply the nail in the coffin that all but declares her to be a fool and, perhaps, even a piece of human trash. If she is honest with him, vows to be faithful from that point forward, and remains faithful thereafter, she might be able to redeem herself, but I honestly think that he would probably feel so betrayed that he would simply rescind his proposal and break all ties with her. In fact, there is a good chance that she would keep it a secret from him because even she can clearly see at the end of the story that she's done something so horrible to her potential husband that he would walk out on her if he knew the truth, but since she's approaching 30 she needs to marry soon or risk being single for the rest of her life. To put it more simply, it is likely that her desperation to marry will win out over her conscience so she will keep her recent, and likely future, affairs a secret as long as possible.
I rambled on a bit and produced a block of text previously, but suffice it to say that while this story's art is great, the 'heroine' is a piece of work, and that is putting it nicely.
What the heck is going on with this woman? Cheating is one thing, but she _literally_ had sex with every guy she bumped into. The artwork is quite sexy like you'd expect from LINDA, but the story is insane.
