I don't see the point unless you're thinking along the lines of a deterrent for noobs to join; and this is most certainly not my goal.
And quoting your post from the idea thread,

As far as punishing people who don't read the rules? Grow up, at worst it's only slightly annoying. It doesn't affect the game in any way and only makes the game slightly harder to follow. I'm also not going to change the lurker rule no matter what you all want on this one; sorry.
I want to clear up on something.

Now I'm not a lurker hater, they're free to join the game as long as they followed the rules.
Deterrent for noobs to join? From the beginning of my post I stated that I'm perfectly okay with lurkers joining. I never hated the lurker rule and I never have wanted for it to change, it's fine as it is. My point is:

For example, user who isn't online or not having his post count increased within 2 weeks after claiming a girl will have his waifu free for anyone to take.
I suggested this not to bash lurkers, but to: 1.) release the idle waifus back to the market so we can give another chance to people who are really playing to claim their favorite girls, and 2.)to attract people to post more and contribute anything to the forums. I mean, what's the meaning of playing if you just claim and then leave? It doesn't benefit the community at all.
Or users with invalid claim will be banned for two rounds straight if they started to flame/whine/ post anything else inside the thread.
And you're right about this one, I suggested this because I'm just plain annoyed. Yes, it doesn't affect the game in any way, yes it might not be very annoying if you just read through the pages, but it's giving the users who keep record of the game a hard time. It's harder to find users who ninja edited, It's boring to see people post "sorry you can't play because you're not qualified" everytime there's an invalid claim. It would be great if people become more careful and read the list before they post so the thread would be clean from unnecessary posts. That's why the chat thread is created, to minimize the spams in the game thread.
TL;DR, I'm not a noob hater. I just hate stupid noobs who can't read. Just saying.
