No idea, especially when you said your friend's PC can play it. Usually DirectX, improper installation, corrupted files, problem with crack, or the opening video. I say the only thing you can do now is to reinstall the game and copy the crack again (if it has one). If you still can't then.. My condolences.

First of all, I want to ask. Is your Snow Drop game an English version? Because mine is English. If so, you don't need to install the language pack nor Applocale, just install the game normally. The problem would be in the game files, try to reinstall and if it still doesn't work, then your game must be corrupted.

I asked this first because I can't even find the Japanese version :3
But if your game is Japanese, do what the above posters said.

No such thing as unity. People have different idealisms, different religions, goals, ambitions, etc . All of them separated people and created many countries with separate goals. What we need more is tolerance and understanding. Of course, you can't truly love others without understanding and accepting them as who they are right? :D
