[Anime] Soul Eater

Well, the first episode has been subbed. It held my attention and hopefully it will stay throughout the series. I really hope it doesn't just turn into a filler + plot + filler + plot kind of show. I also really hope it doesn't turn into a hunt 99 souls plus witch show...

Fight scenes should be interesting, lots of flashy spinning with the scythe.

As much i have chased the manga i can tell you that it's story isn't half bad but the manga is lacking in the qualities of the fighting scenes, but the anime has produced it well, and don't worry is not going to be a hunt of 99 souls and a witch kind of shitty anime that i can guarantee.

God Black Star is annoying. The second episode would of been more enjoyable if he wasn't in it.



When Death the Kid shows up, his background music reminded me of Persona 3 music, lol.

I expect kid's voice to be a lot mature than this but anyway i like Patty's voice is just nice and yeah the second episode is more towards black star's stupid personality although i am quite surprised that the Tsubaki in the anime appear much more beautiful than the one in the manga which is quite sloppy the art work compare to the anime...

Heh, whenever Kid speaks, I keep hearing Light.

That's something that always irks me. When I watch eng dubs, it's always the same voice. Dubbing sucks.

Wow, I just watched the first episode of this and I gotta say I really like it. I love the style of it and the fighting was really well done. Everything reminds me of ABA from Guilty Gear. That moon looks fuckin awesome too. Who am I kidding everything looks fuckin awesome. I have high hopes for this series.

Really like the art style of the anime, not sure about the story but we will see how it goes. I thought Kid was the VA who did Lelouche? that's what it sounded like to me anyway.

I thought that at first too, but then it came to me. It was Tamaki from Ouran!

After re-reading the Soul Eater manga I just noticed that they are making a episode for every chapter of the manga, not skipping any of the story to. Anyone else notice?

I notice that in the first episode alreayd cuz i have been re-reading soul eater for god knows how many times before even the anime was aired i guess you could say this is a animated manga kind of anime... if you agree that is...

I hope that they don't make the manga just 51 chapters though, since the anime is going to be just 51 episodes.

About the anime, their seems to be two versions of it, is their really any difference? The only difference i found was just the beginning where it said the late night show. Is it supposed to be less censored?
