My dreams.....shattered into pieces

My end of year results (ATAR).
The only one that disappoints me was English.
I did ESL, most uni that I want to get into required a study score of 30, and I only got 28.
Accounting too, I expected to get at least 39, but only got 33.
Repeating year 12 is not an option again.
So I have to cope with going to Uni I don't want to go to, which disappoints me a lot.
Derail if you wish, I am so fucked in life anyway.

I have no idea how that point-system of yours work, but if you didn't make it into any of the Universities you wanted to apply to, then you should be disappointed. That's some lame shit.

Devs, I know how you feel. I did poorly in high school and only got into my last choice university. Look on the bright side, though, things may just surprise you further down the road.

Completely unnecessary bullshit is completely unnecessary. I'm sure you're trolling, otherwise you're a terrible human being, and I seriously hope the next time you're out in public, a pigeon shits in your eye.
Devsonfire,
I'm sorry honey, want an internet hug?

If I wanted one, I'll let you know :3
I just wanted to express my feelings here, not that I don't expect anyone will make fun about my situation anyway.
In fact, I needed something that can distract me temporary now.

It pains how you have put effort on doing things but the end result isn't like what you expected to be

Get used to it, honeybunch.
Dreams- like rules- are meant to be broken.
You will never achieve what you want, and so you must simply do whatever you can to put a roof over your head, pay the bills, and somehow just dredge on with your life until you meet the same, miserable end that we all inevitably shall.
For dreams to come true, you need one of two things; Either the money to actually realise them, or the ignorance to delude yourself into believing them achievable and/or that you're happy enough with the way things are.

Secondary school ain't everything.
>Go to college
>Acquire high GPA.
>Apply to better schools at the end of freshman year
>Progress to your long-term goal â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡
Even if that doesn't work, get Bachelor's degree with a high GPA.
>Go for Masters at a better school.
>Progress to your long-term goal â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡
Even when that doesn't work,
>Go to school.
>Acquire a good full time job or internship.
>Start building up your work experience
>Progress to your long-term goal â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â– â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡â–¡
Freshman year at a disappointing school doesn't mean the end of your life
Get your hopes back up. Stay strong.

I shall use this to get myself over it.
After all, what matter are roof over your head and food to survive.

I would seriously consider it pretty bad if you can't muster up enough energy to get to _any_ of the places you want to apply to, and after already repeating a year (which I would think would be a wake-up call that it's time to start fucking studying.) It's not like it's someone else's fault, and as people have pointed out, it's not the end of the world either, going to college isn't the only option out there.

Just for your info, I repeated not because I failed my first chance, I could've been studying an engineering degree right now. I got accepted too. But it was because of my parents meddling with my studies which ended up me fucking up my first chance. I couldn't get myself studying and doing something I don't enjoy for the rest of my life.
Sure, I can't put the blame on my parents for repeating, it was my fault for being indecisive. But, the only way I can do Accounting instead of Engineering was to repeat year 12 so I can get into courses I wanted to.
