Good episode, great series. I will definitely wind up watching it multiple times. Time to read the novels while waiting six months for the OVA.

For a 12 part series, I wasn't expecting much, but..

Spoiler:
Boy, was I wrong. Best series this season, maybe even this year. Legit goosebumps when Yuuta did the blast reality thing, and while Rikka was crying and saying goodbye to her dad. So long, Chu2byou, you will be missed, Nibutani and Dekomori especially.


Does anyone know where to find the translated LN? It doesn't seem to be on BakaTsuki..

Seriously though, I want the OST for this. It vaguely reminds me of Spirited Away at some parts, and that ONE PIANO piece keeps hitting me in the heart. I'm sure you all know by now, it's the one when they have like a realization or have made the resolve to make a decision.

So he was the cause of her 8th grader syndrome, thats pretty heartwarming, and the way all of them came together to tell him that was pretty awesome, this was a great last episode for this series, especially the end with the police officer. This was a good show.

Only 2 volumes, and series seems to be finished. So, no hope for a second season huh..

This was emotional, heart-felt, and adorable. The ending was amazing; the only thing that could have made it better, IMO, is if Rikka and Yuuta kissed. Other than that, epic. 9/10.

Things pretty much ended as was expected...

But the one thing I still didn't like was the fact that nobody in Rikka's family seems to have genuinely understood why she became a Chuu-nii in the first place. Only thinking about what would be easiest for them to cope with instead of Rikka's own happiness.

No one tries to ask about that hard enough, and that's just Japanese culture. Besides that, the ending would be bland if they actually did that, rendering Yuuta without a role.

I feel the same, I thought the whole pinky touching thing was foreshadowing toward that. I guess it wasn't.

hehe well this was a pretty decent anime. Way beyond my expectations though it helped in part that they focused on Rikka from the beginning and didnt really introduce many other love interests and the one they did was shot down pretty fast. At first I thought he influenced her to "start again" her 8th grade syndrome when she saw him screaming his Dark Flame Master lines on the balcony, since she didnt have an eye patch, but wow from that far back huh? Well, this anime ended sweetly and well, well til next time!~

2 of the specials have just come out called Depth of Field Phase 1 and Depth of Field Phase 2.

Though short, I'm glad to see some more Chuunibyou stuff. Not really sure what was going on, I guess they were having a chuunibyou battle. Will have to wait for them all to come out for it to really make sense, unless I'm missing something.
