[Anime] Hataraku Maou sama! (Spring 2013)

The haunted house may have been the scariest scene I've seen from an anime, if this anime had more time to go into that kind of direction, or I should say, the people who thought/crafted it up had time to explore more and if I had been watching it in the right mood, it most likely would have scared the crap out of me. (I really liked how they didn't rely on cheap tricks with suddenly loud noises to startle the viewer.)

I like what I got from the haunted house but other than that, was this episode just a build up to have Suzuno witness Maou's act of compassion? I probably alone on this but I feel like the anime is slowing down in pace compared to early episodes.

Also, I can't read anything from the previews (this one in particular), they're amazingly vague.

This was another entertaining episode of maou-sama. It looks like I was right about the blue-haired Sentucky guy.

They finally got Ashiya some help after being sick for 3 episodes, its going to be interesting to see how things play out.

Jesus Christ, Ashiya, what the fuck did you eat? Anyway, shit got real this episode, and it looks like it'll get even more real next time with Maou going Super Saiyan. Seriously, his Demon Lord mode looks like it'd be right at home in Fist of the North Star. It's borderline ridiculous. I cannot be the only one who thinks this way.

That James angel was an idiot, she can't summon her sacred sword if you keep hitting her with sacred-nullifying powers.

Battle was great, I was like "really" when It looked like Chi-chan did the old one-two on James but it turned out to be Maou.

And one more to go, can't wait, favourite anime of the season

Okay seriously, not only is Emi helpless this entire fight, but we are also told that her powers are completely ineffective against angels? Just how much does the plot of this show hate Emi!?

The only thing I regret about this episode is Chii not actually doing that kick. Even though Maou used a sword, that last attack would make a good banhammer gif

He does seem quite OP with his crazy magical asset. But I'm pretty sure Emilia hasn't even gotten all of her powers back yet. I think she mentions at one point about how she wishes she could summon her sacred holy armor. So really we haven't even seen her while she is at 100%. which could explain how Maou was forced to retreat. Shoot, she probably has some super angel mode up her sleeve that she cant use yet too.

Excellent fight scenes, and like others have said, Maou is an OP badass. This honestly seemed like it could be the last episode, but we have one more next week. I wonder how that'll go.

God Lucifer, maybe its for the best that he is considered a minor.

I know that vast majority prefer Chiho for her Ass and big tits, but I prefer Emi, and was very happy to see her true feeling showing a bit, and was intrigued at the end when Maou said something about having her on his side, or something similar to that effect.

I do want a season 2, but their has only been 8 Volumes of the Light Novel released so I doubt if the did it, it would be anytime in the near future.

That wasn't the ending I was expecting but at the same time it provided some closure. Maou isnt going back anytime soon, I dont think he wants to anyways.

Like deadsx said, theres only 8 LN's out right now. Assuming this season covered the first four then another season is possible, DVD sales depending. I would like to see another season of this, or translated LN's.

That felt more like an OVA than a final episode, although it did give a somewhat more definite answer as to whether or not Maou is planning on returning to Ente Isla. Also, Chiho's facial expressions at the beginning were gold. This has been one of my favorite series this season, so I'm a bit sad to see it go. All hail Maou Satan (and Alsiel, and Emi, and Chiho, and Suzuno, and...).
