[Anime] Hataraku Maou sama! (Spring 2013)

Maou's finisher reminds me of another punch. You know, the casting of magic circles/mandalas to augment one's attack part - I think it was from Negima, though I'm not sure.

Anyway just marathoned it, and I honestly can say that this show just reinstated my interest for this season's anime.

I am so glad they never showed that picture full on. I don't my heart could handle something that objectively horrible...ugh. Episode was alright. Kinda average, gut alright.

The episode was pretty good. It looks like Emilia and Chiho might have some competition (or at least might think they do). Also, completely random theory, totally a shot in the dark, but I think Emilia's mom was a human from Earth. She was the student at Chiho's school that was spirited away, and ended up in Ente Isla. Remember, they said that Emilia's mother was an angel, and think about it: a person falls from the sky from a big flash of light (the portal opening up), they act and talk like they're from another world, and they're wearing strange clothes. The medieval-era people of Ente Isla just might think she's an angel. What are everyone's thoughts on the matter? Again, almost no basis for this, just thought I'd put it out there.

I imagine Lucifer becoming a computer hacker, and the whole landlord bikini picture as a weapon was pretty funny, I wonder who the new character will be.

No! The worlds coolest househusband wasn't feeling well! What a drag. That aside, good episode. Poor Maou, man. Catches the chick mid fall, and gets an elbow and a knee in the face as a reward. And Chiho overreacting to that lunchbox. Good stuff, man. Good stuff. And action! Who is mystery scythe man? Mysterious...

Well she just got attacked by some guy with a sycth and lazer eyez, but fuck that, that's not even important. Maou got a fucking handmade lunch box with a heart! Everyone get to battlestations!.

In the next ep preview that guy with the glasses looked like James from teamrocket.

Emilia landing on her head... "Bwruga!"... Immortalized in my memories.

maou is starting to rack himself a harem! wtf!? anyway, chiho's still my favorite and her reactions always make me riot with laughter

Oh, Chiho. Chiho, Chiho, Chiho. What a gal. Anyway, I actually quite like the new chick. Good episode overall, and next episode looks pretty funny, as well.

He kept saying the wrong thigs, its so obvious Chiho likes him but the laws of Harem anime wont allow him to do anything, I wish they could have added new girl in with at least a reason why she likes Maou instead of just "Oh I like him"

So when is Emi going to be able to fight someone without needing someone else to save her ass? Being saved by a store clerk is pretty bad.

Alright, Chiho! She don't pussyfoot around the subject, no sir. Comes right out and says she's in love with him. That's a woman right there. And Ms. Kimino there was from Ente Isla after all. Didn't put her together with the chick in the hood until they showed it again. I smell intrigue...

Alsiel. Demon, househusband, fast food joint spy. He can do it all.

God Chiho makes the best faces. So its confirmed the true Identity of the new girl, though I'm not sure if she actually has Feelings for Maou, it looks like it but, she asked Emi to help her kill him.

Lucifar sleeping in a stack of cardboard boxes, is totally ghetto.

Chiho's faces and reactions are legendary. And Alsiel should get his own short spin-off series called "Demon Lord's Commander at Home", depicting his mundane but amusing misadventures and overprotectiveness-of-Maou-induced worry.

Chiho made about 15 funny faces this whole episode, and the fact that Emi doesnt realize that the person who attacked her was Lucifer was pretty dumb. The Manager for the rival fast food joint looks like James from Pokemon.
