[Anime] Little Busters!

Literally announced 5 minutes ago, the Little Busters anime adaptation has now been green-lit! The news was broadcasted on the Dengeki Bunko web radio #34 at around the 49 minute mark. It hasn't shown up on any Western news sites yet but you bet such a big news will hit in a few hours. Little Busters is also now a trending topic on Twitter Japan.

There isn't any word on date of broadcast, or even the studio as of this moment. I will update this thread with news as they come.

EDIT: According to a statement by KEY, it's true that there have been difficulty to persuade KyoAni to commit to a Little Busters! anime despite considerable hype behind the possibility. They were previously rumored to be dealing with P.A.Works and that remains a high possibility. Again, everything right now is just speculation. We know that the anime project is confirmed, that's it.

EDIT 3: The cast will be the same as the VN cast. It has now been confirmed on the official website.

EDIT 4: The studio handling production has been leaked ahead of the scheduled announcement date of April 10 - J.C.Staff will be handling the show. In other news, the director is the same guy who did Kill Me Baby.

I've never played the game (My laptop does not support any type of VN) so yeah.
But I will watch this once it is aired. I hope they are going to make the story like Amagami SS where every girl has their own Arc.

Haven't played the game, totally need to, but I sure as hell am going to watch this. Also as long as it's Kyotoani or PA Works animating it I have no problems.

I'm still playing LB!, still have to do Rin 2 and Refrain. Guess I better finish the VN before the anime comes out.

I haven't played the VN but I definitely want to. Still playing through some other VNs at the minute.

I've heard lots of great things about Little Busters! I finished CLANNAD which is an instant favorite, so I can expect great things from this anime adaptation.(I also enjoyed MintJam's album cover of LB's soundtrack.)

Is there any distinct difference between LB, and LB:Ecstasy, other than the lack of adult content?

I actually never played the game despite all the good things I've heard about it but now I'm compelled to do so.

While Clannad is more of a Love Drama, Little Busters is more like Ano Hana. It's mainly about Childhood friends.

That means that I have to download the VN and finish it before watching the show!

On topic, I checked this news when I was working and almost shouted out of surprise and excitement lol

I'm glad it's getting an animated series. Something important got spoiled for me by some jackass about Little Busters, so I didn't see the point of playing the VN anymore, even though I was looking forward do to so a lot for some time.

But I guess it won't harm checking out the anime for it at least, whenever it will air in the future.
