The first anime I ever watched was Candy Candy.

Yeah, its way out there in terms of age. Hell, I can barely remember myself. But I can remember even then that the quality of the art and the story telling were so much better than American cartoons such as Ninja Turtles, Mighty Max, etc. I never watched the entire series, but what I did see was rather depressing. Still, I was hooked because I wanted to see Candy's rotten fortune turn around. Other anime I hold dear are all of the anime that were on toonami before it became stale. These include: Robotech, Sailor Moon, DB/DBZ, Ronin Warriors, Gundam Wing, Tenchi, Rurouni Kenshin, G Gundam, the original Gundam and Voltron. There may be more, but I'm too lazy to remember. To this day I can't look up at the moon and not think Sailor Moon. Good times.

Gundam Wing - Reminds me of my highschool days, I used to be Heero, I have a friend who acts like Duo, a friend who wants to be a Martial Artist(Wufei), a friend who is a sensitive one(Quattre) and My bestfried quite one(Trowa) too bad i didnt meet my Relena lol...

Ichigo 100% - First Anime/Manga that really touched me, besides Please Teacher!...

SlamDunk - One of the best Anime Sports

Highschool of the Dead - Dream come true...Hot girls, Zombie, Guns/Swords and highschool...

Rurouni Kenshin - One of the Best!

Higurashi season 1 makes me put on nostalgia goggles badddddlyyyyy. Good timessssss. It was kinda my first proper animu what not, like I'd watched Pokemon and Lucky Star but, cough, you know.

Personally I hated season 2 but I still enjoy season 1.

Oh a lot are special in different ways.

Well, this are all that I remember so far.

Kaiji and Akagi made me realise how bad the rest of anime is and I was lost in wonder, pondering why I never heard of such great anime before. Many manly tears were shed.

My special manga that I like very much would be all of Ken Akamatsu's including Negima and Love Hina!

Older ones: Dragon Ball, Love hina, Black Cat and Evangelion(Pure classics).

Recent Ones: Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Negima and Fairy Tail(New classics).

1) Digimon Adventures- Brings back lots of memories.. my (fuckingasswhostolemoneyandranawaywithawhoreanddivorcedbiological) dad who used to work in a korean broadcasting channel used to bring dubbed VCRs. Probably my first anime that I loved.

2) One Piece- Holds as much memory as Digimon.. although I gave up on anime (forgot where I was) I'm still a big fan of the manga.

3)Code Geass/Death Note, the 'smart' duo- Changed the way I think.

4)Clannad ~After Story~- Shit.. first time ever that I cried while watching animes.. What I felt was that it was the truly beautiful anime.

Anime:

Outlaw Star - The series that really gave me a big push to get into watching Anime.

Akira - Classic, Probably the first Anime ive ever seen and it was good! :) The ending went a bit... Y'Know! :lol:

School Days - Amazing story and the ending was so bad! (So bad it was good) :)

Hajime No Ippo - Just brilliant, Ive watched it again and again and again... Its still fresh!

Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz - Watched the whole series of Gundam Wing and the movie was the icing on the cake. (Nostalgia)

Azumanga Daioh - Untill I watched this all I really watched was Mecha, Cowboy Bebop and sports Anime ETC. Brightened my horizon.

Kodomo No Jikan - An Anime (Havent read the Manga... Yet) done in such a classy way. Hats off to the people who made it. If you read the synopsis it might seem to be "risky" but its done so damn well! :)

Manga:

Suzuka - Practically the second Manga ive read after Love Hina. Love Hina the Manga was good dont get me wrong but Suzuka actually had me wanting MOAR!!

Bitter Virgin - Probably the best Manga ive ever read. Thats all I really have to say about that!

Sundome - Im reading this now and I can tell its gonna be a classic for me. Im shaking with excitement just thinking about it right now. BRILLIANT! :D

KissXSis - Incest... YATTA!!! :D

There are some animes i can think of.

The first "Real" anime i watched. (aka. Japanese language, english subs - and the reason for most of my user/forum names, Asa^^)

Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha (all seasons)
Its exactly the kind of series i like the most. Action,Comedy and Loli power.

and the latest one for me would be :
Valkyria Chronicles.
With a huge amount of different charas like a gay anti tank soldier and a stormtrooper loli.
Im usually not into war-related stuff but this one is a personal treasure for me.

Keroro Gunsou - makes me feel like a child again. Love it. My favorite anime ever.

Toradora - this one really strikes me as odd. I really love the comedic value of the series, but the real beauty lies in the ending. It's so cliche and predictable, but it nearly tears my heart apart every time I think of it. Despite all the random nonsense Taiga pulls, like
. I just went wtf there.

Next to Dragonball Z, I honor this one even more for one reason, Love Hina saved me from the "Drop Out List", that's how much impact it left till this day
