This is because a lot of Yuuko's and Shadow Yuuko's development has been skipped over. There is almost no way a decent anime original end is going to come out of this.

We could be looking at a Black Butler situation. Just making up original stuff, and going on from there with the show.

So they are doing the Shadow Yuuko story. Thank goodness they didnt try to force it into one episode. I'm really wondering what the finale will be now. Shadow Yuuko will probably end next episode.

Shadow Yuuko is the biggest story of the first 3 volumes. Like Zero said, its lacking build-up and with 5 episodes left I don't see why this one was placed now. The only thing I can think of is there will be some anime original content later on.

Episode 7.

Well...that was certainly something.

"The spirit from the inn" as I've been calling it, is some kind of crazy, shadow Yuuko that takes all the bad emotions and memories from her...and she tried to murder Teechi. And now she doesn't remember who he is...damn. Didn't see that one coming.

Anyone else watching this? It just started airing.

For those who don't know, it basically focuses on a ghost chick who doesn't remember her past life who can only be seen by a few people.

I think it's interesting, though episode 4 & 5 were far too harem-ish for me(Plus i hate what happened to Kirie's character. Introduced as a strong, independent female character who got turned into a weak-willed love interest for the main male character). Thankfully episode 6 was kind of awesome, so hopefully it will get back on track

Kirie needs a good slugging. Seriously, that bitch needs a solid punch to her fat head. Her Tsundere crap is getting old. Okonogi, the perfectly nice girl, gets rejected(Nice girl getting rejected. Shocker...) and passed over for the amnesiac ghost, who tried killing Teechi. Oh, and grabbing her tits gave Yuuko her memory back. Yay. Status Quo is fixed once again...


Sucky episode was sucky.

And shadow yuuko continues, into anime original content. Not surprising because Shadow Yuuko isnt entirely resolved in the manga yet so it will be interesting to see how it ends in the anime.

I just love how tit grabbing is apparently vital in triggering memories. My god, that just kills all the badly done drama. We get beat over the head again with "Shadow Yuuko Bad!" and it's going to be a flashback episode next. Way to provide a weak lead up to it.

Wonky pacing and plot swings aside, I must say that the OP and ED are fantastic; great animation and great songs.

Definitions will vary among people, for me- it's anyone who has died and yet are still around in some form that is able to interact with the living.

I'm good with this anime-original episode. Except for Shadow Yuuko forcing herself on Yuuko via boob grope. I mean, come on! Put your hands further up her torso or in her gut at least! Also, I do feel a huge disconnect/lack of build-up between the previous episodes and what's happening right now.
