Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! was a good slice of life/drama/comedy series with good characters, (my favorites were Raika and Hina, brought so much variety to the show) but it ended just last week with only 12 episodes without much telling of the story after episode 3, so disappointing.

I kind of wish Ninja Nonsense didn't end in 12 episodes. I didn't like the ending at all, I think it needs another season.

Elfen Lied, the Manga went into great detail and the anime just kinda ended.
I can't remember if they ever ended Gunslinger girls i have season 1 and 2 blu-ray but i do not know if the manga has ended yet.

Nope, most anime end just right or as intended, stuff like Nichijou I feel would just overstay it's welcome if it went on for much longer than 26 episodes, and adding extra episodes to a story anime is just pander or filler usually.I agree with ya dude, however another season of danshi koukousei no nichijou would bring me tears of joy to me, because it was just one of the greatest nichijou animes I've ever seen personally. They said they would make a drama and the end of the last episode, but I still rather prefer another season before a drama.

The first anime that comes to my mind is Angel Beats! It was way too short and because of that the plot was rushed and most characters lacked depth.

[C]. It needed like an extra 5 minutes to explain more of the ending. Another whole episode would be kind of difficult to fill.

The anime was fucking epic, but then lots of characters' backstories were skipped due to the 12-episode format. If they added in more of that then the anime would probably be even more awesome
