Anime that ended too soon!

FLCL = Seriously, I just got mind fucked throughout all the episodes.
Boku wa tomodachi ga sukanai = It was a pretty good series, could have been longer.

School rumble. When I found out that it as canceled I felt pain.

Air gear and Claymore. It doesn't get any worse than a cliff-hanger ending.

Zetman felt rushed to me.

Seitokai no Ichizon

Soul Eater hit some filler halfway through the series, and then derailed from the plot of the manga completely.
Despite this, the end was epic and might not be something you get to see in the manga.

Aren't they planning another season or so?

read that the producers needs a few more chapters before they can animate a whole new season based off of the manga.

Oh and ToraDora deserves another season, everything was just right about them ..

Nyan Koi could have been a great series.

Black Rock Shooter was epic, but it was really a big time rush.


Senki Zessho Symphogear could have been epic but it was just ended too soon.

A LOT of animes have ended too soon .. there are a few out there that had potential.

But then again it is up to us to sign a petition and convince the company to produce another season of our favorite anime or make one from a manga.

For me it was "Kore Wa Zombie Desu. Of the Dead." it just ended with practically no story advancement to it whatsoever.

It's probably already been quoted like a billion times.

Angel Beats. All throughout the show there is comedy; but when it comes time to be serious and emotion pulling, it does the job. Of course I'd like to hear how all the members of the warfront appeared in that world but there's no helping it. I found myself crying at the end of the series, and during episode 9.


Clannad, currently on episode 7. But so far it's been beautifully portrayed with both music and animation. It is done with flawless execution. The comedy, the music, the sad elements, the cliff hanger after every episode that only a reader of the VN would know what to happen. The jokes and references to the VN done flawlessly and professionally. I loved the music they tweaked from the VN for this show, and at no point does the art falter, nor does the story. I was crying after the wedding arc since it was done so well. A perfect adaptation of a VN in my honest opinion thus far.
If only KyoAni could do Little Busters! too.

You know what needs more episodes... Golden Boy. That show was hilarious!

Good news, Season 2 was announced!

Black rock shooter, it was my second fav. anime but it only had 8 ep. so I was kinda dissapointed...oh well.

On another note, Elfen Lied. That show got only 13 episodes and only got halfway through the manga's plot before changing the whole ending and omitting the second half of the manga. That's what really pissed me off. The second half of the manga was even better than the first half, and they left it out.

Gurren Lagann. Why? Yoko...need I say more?

Working!! Ended way too quickly. They made a second season, but the ending was very similar to that of the first. If they made a new series I'd expect it to be a few episodes longer at least. I'm not a fan of 9 - 13 episode anime's. 24 - 26 episodes minimum is what I usually look for.

Bleach didnt end fast enough in my opinion.

I think Bleach just had too much filler, leave out the Bount, Captain Amagai, and Zanpakuto arcs and it would probably be a highly praised series (I personally loved the Mod Soul arc and Nozomi Kujo, haters gonna hate). I know the manga is still going on, so I bet people will lobby for Bleach to be brought back as a new series, which I really don't know how I'd feel if it did come back.
