I've been waiting for a new mecha to watch. Based on the music I can feel what direction they are going with this and it seems promising. But not enough is revealed so I won't jump to conclusions. Thanks for the update!

The background sound of the trailer seems exactly like one of the Code Geass sounds, I actually thought it was the latter for a second.

Shinreki 71, 70% of all human beings have finally migrated to space due to the development of space cities. Between two organizations called the Dorushia Military Pact Federation and the Atlantic Ring United States (ARUS), there is a small neutral nation called Jiouru that has prospered economically. In the same year, Tokishima Haruto, a high school student living in Jiouru discovered a mysterious mecha called Valvrave during the Dorushia's attack in the nation.

Well my intial thought of this the beginning of gundam seed and destiny combined. Art looks good, and I'm fine with a gundamishy story line, as long as the character doesn't go all Shinn on us. So far he's ok, now to see how he takes it

This really feels like it's going to try to model Code Geass though (by the end). Mech way too flamboyant, it's funny.

Do you know who the writer of the anime is?

Kira is a bitch throughout the whole series, while Shu went with his vengeance after Hare got killed, which Haruto has already done by episode one. Sides, high school boy gets extra ordinary powers? Shu and Lulu right here.

Yeah, felt like watching Gundam Seed all over again. lol

The female voice was Nana Mizuki? Felt like a punch, right in the gut, by someone screaming "seed".

The first album I bought was one of hers. Used to listen to the two obsessively.

Yeah, it's her alright, She's been my favorite singer since I first hear her. And it was confirmed in the credits at 22:08

She also voices one of the characters, Kriemhild, the Dorssian Female Officer.

As much as I've listened to her sing, I couldn't recognize her... It's been a long time... *looks into the horizon*, "I must be getting old"...

I have to re-watch the episode (w/ subtitles), waiting on second episode to pick a group to watch with.
