Aww, just when I thought I could enjoy eps 8 without any bloodsheed or gruesome death. Nice boat, btw.

I kinda doubt that coincidence can alters people's memories or makes them all forget about specific matters, though. But that's only me.

Interesting episode kept freaking out every time something little happened expecting someone to die which I don't want for basically the main cast although I thought the nurse and the well endowed megane girl were main characters too. In the dream when they say it's his fault I would of just said that the guy killed himself and who the hell runs down the stairs with a sharp object even if it's just an umbrella?

There goes another Employee of the Month... people can be so careless in this anime if you ask me. Tripping down the stair, glass not secured, elevator not having any maintenance, and now itsa dang construction truck... dang!I'm so thankful our house ain't at the end of a slope now

This series still makes me nervous. I love the whole tape pulling out thing. Fixing it doesn't work with CD's. Hate it that every time a piece of useful info is found one way or another it is cut off just before the best part. Falling rock scared the hell out of me

Mei is cute, particularly when she put that fake flower in her hair on a whim.

I was on pins and needles this whole episode. People can die from anything. So that guy didn't die because of the boat. Interesting. In his rush to get away from the town, he made a bad decision that resulted in his death anyway. In a way, the same could be said of the short-haired girl. She seemed to be well-adjusted until Koichi explained things. It's hard to tell if she was within the town's "range" when the rock fell.

Also, I only noticed now that, in the OP, there's a human silhouette jumping out of the bushes with a knife. There is the possibility the OP isn't just there for show after all.

I jumped when The lightning bolt scene happened, this series always has me on edge as to who will die next! when I saw that construction truck start move I was like "OH SHIT!" then BAM lightning bolt out of nowhere. jumped out of my seat almost. Gah I can't wait for the next episode!

If you look back at that scene, you'll notice that there is a large hill of rock next to the road. Since it was raining, It's easy to assume that a large chunk of the hill slid off due to the rain and erosion. Also, depending on the speed and size of the rock that hit the wind shield, the velocity of the car and the rate of how fast the rock fell would make it so that the rock would just bounce off after dealing most of its falling force to the windshield of the car (windshields are pretty strong).

Rocks don't go magically sailing through the air. The incline was steep and rather smooth. And you have to factor in the size of the rock and the height it must have fallen to be able to reach the car. Unless the rocks in Japan have a high amount clay in them, the one that fell onto the car should have made a larger fracture in the windshield at the very least.

I bet this guy was lurking in the fakku forums before the crane smashed into his house and killed him.

This episode kept scaring the shit out of me. First was that girl twirling the umbrella around in his dream which freaked me out when I saw it for some reason (I was anticipating seeing her face), and then the fucking loud lightning bolt and rock which hit the wind shield - both made me jump.

Great episode though. And now that guy is dead. Let's see what happens with the tape.

First, the rock that hit the car it sounded like it was rolling before it hit the windshield so it didn't just slide off of the narrow side it rolled off hitting some rocks and I've seen some rocks roll back when I was younger because I used to live in a forest area.

Second, that lightning bolt and the rock that rolled off made me jump lucky I wasn't listening to it on high volume.

Third, this mystery is getting really good I wish we could have heard the rest of the tape.

Fourth, Four people died in that episode, two in the past and two in the present.

Fifth, Misaki had some interesting lines this episode and close calls. (haha almost falling through the floor and almost killing someone was pretty funny)
