the trailer for the Live Action movie's already came out.
based on the other trailer that i saw in the cinema which i can't find yet in youtube, seems like the climax's gonna be different than the anime and some more bizarre deaths.
And it starts off by scaring a guy with the doppelganger story. Awesome! Hot Misaki on Misaki-Misaki action! Massively trolled at the amusement park. But the way Misaki died still seemed quite horrible despite the lack of any gore. She had that terrified and desperate expression on her face. And it explains most everything about Mei's rather odd character at the beginning of the anime. A very smart anime overall.
The bird may have been divine punishment for messing with that guy at the start. The bird/ferris wheel bit I saw coming. When they parted ways I expected Misaki to get hit by a car, and she didn't. The collapse almost made me scream. Overall this filled in all the blanks relating to Mei and her sister.
I remember this show...I dropped it after episode 1, cause it was boring as hell.
Seriously man? I don't care if you like this anime or not but you should always at least watch the first 2-3 episodes of any anime before judging it. I'll admit that the first episode does start off kind of slow but you should've gave it more of a chance. It gets really good.

Battle Girls: Time Paradox
Maken-ki!
Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
Princess Tutu
Strike Witches
Tenjho Tenge
Yumeria
9 shows, all dropped after 1 episode. In P&SG's case, dropped during the first episode. My point being, if I think a show sucks bad enough, I 1 and done it.
-that Doppelganger bit,NICE!
-it's nice to see Mei's cheerful expression before the shit happens.
-I GOT TROLLED HARD BY THAT FERRIS WHEEL!
-even though there's zero gore but seeing Misaki's death by seeing that expression alone have enough impact to me.
-the episode ended by the part where i remembers the first episode managed to creeping me out and starting to scared the shit out of me before the creepy long pause starts too creeps in.
looking forward on how they're gonna did the Another Live Action Movie that plays this August.is it gonna be the exact same plot with the anime/manga or is it gonna be a new twist?
who knows...
Hey guys, haven't had time to watch episode 0 since getting back from Japan but I just saw it and i agree with what yurixhentai said.
and yes to the misakixmisaki doujin!

Oh man! How did I not know about the live action??/ Looking foward to that!!!!!
Good god that ferris wheel got me pretty good. The last thing I wanted was for Misaki to die in some horribly gruesome way. Still the whole thing was sad as hell, especially since I knew that she was going to die from the start.
To be honest, I was not very impressed by this show. It started out with some pretty solid setup - lots of atmosphere, tons of detail in the art, and a nice sense of mystery. But then it sort of just eventually became Final Destination in anime form...really over the top and silly and honestly very hard to take seriously at all, lol. By the end, I officially considered it a comedy, because those last two episodes were just full of silliness. Some of the deaths were things that belonged in Looney Tunes, not a "serious mystery anime." Really, the chandelier and pillar combo? Lol.
All things considered, it sort of ended up just being an "average" show to me. The art's great, the first few episodes are very interesting, but I ended up disliking the rest and mostly just found it funny. And...was not really satisfied with the ending. The show offered no decent explanation as to why Mei couldn't have just...stopped it all from happening? She has an all-powerful eye. And twintails girl just dies unceremoniously with a really, REALLY forced "emotional" flashback.
Also, it was one of the most sociopathic things I've ever seen. The kids all sure get over the deaths they witness pretty quickly. Time to have fun on the beach!
Not to offend anyone who liked the show, of course. I just couldn't enjoy it all that much.
just watched it today and to me.....average.
now i'm just gonna post some spoilers/hints from the Movie ver but since it's pretty much the same with the anime,it's probably isn't much of a give away.
and some of these semi review of mine has couple of complains about the movie in it.
what's already in the series but changed:
Spoiler:
-literally in 10 SECONDS of the movie, the movie already show us who's the dead one.WHAT A SHOCKER!(you can see some of it in the trailer).
-remember how freaking creepy the first Sakakibara meet Misaki's scene in the dark corridor? better forget about it because nothing creepy about it.
-at first, everytime Sakakibara meet with Misaki,he always have a heart attack symptom.
-his Aunt with her obvious hints(for the ones that already knows the anime/manga).
-remember how intense when Misaki reveals what's under her eyepatch? you may want to forget about that too. besides,it's already shown in the trailer i've posted).
-that "OOPS! guess we're too late or being busy being assholes to tell you about the history of 3-3.tehe~" BULLSHIT still annoys me.
-according to this one,the dead Misaki is....a female student? why they changed it if the original was a male student? just because for making sense but confusing in the flashback scene because the students back then was using a doll? why not use a Gunpla or something? damn writers for making unnecessary changes.
-the Umbrella Death scene was hilarious! why? because of the actress's over acting expression and obvious animatronic doll at the stabbed scene. and the way she dies isn't exactly the same way but because she's surprised of an exploding spray can then she SLIPPED on a leak puddle flat on her back with the umbrella stabs through her neck. although her last word says "it's all your fault" was kinda creepy.
-same goes to the Elevator Death scene because....it's damn ridiculous. why? in the anime, the Elevator falls into the ground and she dies because her face smashed the elevator ground while the elevator ceiling fall and crushing her. in here, the elevator just shakes around and the mirror inside the elevator breaks and one of the pieces stabs her forehead......weak.
-misaki's mom knows about her situation but somehow, she's kinda creepy because being overprotective.
-remember at the anime where Sakakibara dreams that he and Misaki were dancing around and having fun? they actually did it in here! not the dancing part but they're really having fun with it.
-remember the scene where their teacher kill himself in front of the class? in here, his cause of death was...take it from here Tick.
i fucking laugh myself at that scene just because how ridiculous it is(maybe not if the fucking thing's stabbed your eyeball) and because i instantly remembers The Tick. DAMN YOU TICK!
-Sakakibara's nightmare sequence wasn't that chilling and scary as in the anime.
-even after their teacher dies,Sakakibara and Misaki's remain Exiled from the class and nobody wants to hang out again with them until at the mansion.so when they found the tape,it's only two of em who did it.
-the guy who made the tape's actually cut of his several left hand fingers to remind him that he killed the dead one.
-the aunt's is the one that investigate why the deaths has stopped at some point.yes, the dead one is the one that investigate and helped the class to go pray. i know she's oblivious of her own death but if not,PLOTHOLE!
-the only vehicle that they has is only the bus.
-because only two of them found the tape, they didn't have the chance to share their discovery with the class so when Sakakibara's roommate at the mansion found the tape and only let some of their friends know about it,LOTS AND LOTS OF MISUNDERSTANDING!
-more ridiculous deaths are on the way.
-that's kinda explains why there's a fire in the kitchen.
-i kinda prefer the moment where Sakakibara found out that his aunt is the dead one in the anime.
-so get this, the death color is actually VISIBLE TO ANYONE???? i know it's just some ugly liquid thingy CG but how come besides Misaki anyone can see the damn thing?? DOES NOT COMPUTE!!!
-so after his Aunt remembers that she's actually already dead(not the part where she gets stabbed but the scene parts in the movie),she kills herself.
-happily ever after...OR DO THEY!
here's my biggest complain yet:
Spoiler:
-if it's an old mansion,WHY THE FUCK IT'S A FREAKING NEW BUILDING THAT HAS NO CHANDELIER!
i mean,COME ON MOVIE,USE THE CHANDELIER!!!
i know it's hard to get a real old mansion in japan but if you're already establishing something,USE THE DAMN F*CKING THING!
-at the scene where some students still trapped, one of the student grabs a Chainsaw and started it up.but then,he didn't use it and they escape.
.....WHAT A WASTE!!! i mean...IT'S A F*CKING CHAINSAW!!!
i was really looking forward for some chainsaw slaughtering because the death curse still lingers around since there's no psychopath granny in it.
DAMN IT!!!
and here's what new/extra in the movie ver:
Spoiler:
after the end of it,we jumped to year 2012 in spring at the time of new school year. at that time, one of the students were received the tape that the Adult Sakakibara gave to her earlier but since they never seen a walkman/tape before, they didn't know what to do with it.then when the class starts,we were given a BIG CLUE of who's the Dead One this time (it's a teacher)and the tape's automatically turned on and says "be careful" in Misaki's recorded voice.
and that's my review/spoilers from Another Live Action Movie.
pretty weak for an anime/manga adaptation movie.
