Episode 10:

The flashback with Izumi throws a wrench in the works of things, even with Mei's revelations. Izumi's brother possibly died while Kouichi was still in the hospital, yet Mei's sister died right before he was discharged. That aside, Mei's explanation gives very good reasoning to why she went to such an unusual section of the hospital and why she didn't try all that hard to avoid Kouichi. And why she's missing an eye. I want to say one more thing about Mei: she has an unusual way of telling a story that I almost find it hard to believe her. Almost like it was some elaborate setup so she could make a Misaki Misaki joke.

We somehow manage to escape this episode with no one dying (for sure anyway). We have one asthma attack and one beat-down. In addition, we have one person (the teacher?) sharpening a letter opener/scissors. If someone else found out about how eliminating the Another would get rid of the curse for the year, then I imagine the bodies are going to start piling up.

And that fucking chandelier hasn't even fallen yet.

All I have to say to Sakakibara is JUST KISS HER DAMMIT... anyway, is anyone else feeling the show is starting to drag a little? It's not that bad right now but it feels like it might get worse, also I'm pretty sure I already know who's dead and the other M. Night Shyamalan twist at the end,

and DAMN IT! that interrupted mei part is almost driving me crazy!

DAT ENDING WAS FUCKING EPIC, made me go cold. It's even more epic when it's loud (I watched it a second time). The preview for the next episode looks insane as well!

This series continues to scare the hell out of me. Also way to put in a cliffhanger. This entire time I've been thinking Sakakibara is the dead person and unless Mei is lying (which I strongly think she is) I'm totally lost.

Do glass eyes move around like regular ones?

Not really. Unless they are attached to muscle, they cannot move. After all, muscle contractions are what make our eyeballs move (that and electric impulses from the brain). So unless her glass eye is somehow artificially attached and is electrically stimulated, it won't move. And if it did move by the stimulation, it wouldn't move freely by will.

Ok the fact tha mei knows who it is just been gnawing at my mind, not only that but after watching the preview for ep 11 I can tell there is going to be a blood bath. Just who is the dead person.

I think this anime has done it, its made me numb to violent deaths. I'm mean jeez the one death of the girl falling out of the window and having her back arched like the Arch in St. Louis. defiant to say she wasn't loving it, and then the girl hanging herself by accident. I mean damn whats the last episode gonna be like?

This was an awesome episode! I can't believe the trip turned into a killing spree. My favorite part of this episode was probably the part when the girl face-planted into the ground after falling down from the second story. And there was also that part when that guy got his flame on (if you know what I mean). XD
I can't wait to see what happens next (as usual)!

In episode 10 and start of 11. Mei's green eye moved as if it was part of her like her red one. Is this for animation purposes or very-strongly related to plot?

This series leaves me speechless with my heart pounding and eyes wide open. Mei seems to have quite a load of confidence in Sakakibara since she didn't even look amused when that girl went for her the first time. But after Sakaki was injured she seemed...aware?...of the danger.

OMG episode 11 that was brilliant!! awesome and the part when the guys open the door brilliant.But i wonder why the old lady doing this thing i did not find the sense to it. and Brok3n butterfly is that avatar of tasogare otome x amnesia?

I doubt it's part of the plot. It's kind of like how when people cry in anime they rarely ever have snot dripping from their nose since it's a bit of a mood breaker. Mei having a "lazy eye" probably would take a bit away from the seriousness of it all.

It seems I was right in not automatically assuming Kazami had died last episode. Of course, Naoya and Yuya are the resident dumbfucks now. Why bring the fucking tape along!? It's bad enough that Naoya's lost his nerve, but now everyone is "informed". Add to that, no one is even remotely aware that non-eyepatch Misaki was Misaki Fujioka. Also, you know you're fucked when the nervous wreck of a teacher is one of the most sane people left. And then she takes a blow to the head, so she's not going to be much help for a while, if at all.

And the result? Crazy old lady (I don't know what her deal is) and a bunch of gruesome deaths. Some more or less self-inflicted. Koichi really stepped it up a notch though. Took a blow to the balls, then punched a guy in the face and kneed that other crazy bitch in the gut and- OH FUCK, TAKAKO'S HERE TO STAB YOU IN THE ARM! She died as gruesomely as she was misinformed. Now Izumi wants to kill Mei, and judging from how things are going, she's not going to live much longer. Speaking of Mei, I believe this is the first time she has seemed truly terrified. Her cold demeanor was understandable, given the death of her sister and her isolation from her mother and class. So it's all the more visceral here.

And where the fuck is Kazami now!? And we still have that fucking chandelier left!

This episode wouldn't happen if Misaki was actually "communicating" with her class, but she can't because she was the "non-existent" one for the class... Talk about Irony.
