Ichika has the same problems with being an ideal harem lead as Rito, only worse. Ichika has shown no romantic interest in anyone, while Rito currently has two romantic interests. Rito may be on the dense side, but Ichika is so dense that he ignores members of his harem to the point where they are on the verge of yandere-ness.



I don't read Negima, but I can say a couple things. He might be a good harem lead, but he isn't the best. Negi's harem is basically handed to him on a silver platter since he teaches an all-girls class. He also doesn't really need to actively maintain his harem since the pacts keep them relatively close by themselves.

I'm confused, should it be the one we like the most, or the one who "got" the most.
Well my favorite harem lead would have to be... Tomoya from Clannad, mostly because he had a harem but he still was most faithful to one girl.
The one who got the most? Easy Makoto from School Days *Spoiler, he's a dick* but he does get the most so there's that.

Makoto is the worst, because He got killed by one of his harem = FAIL

Taking one girl from your harem is not harem = Tomoya is not qualified as a harem lead.

No one mention Keitaro Urashima... i'm disappoint... and if Hachibei Maeda wasn't a parts pimp then i could believe him has the top three harem king.

For me it would have to be Rin Tsuchimi from Shuffle!. He wasn't the typical dense, no clue sort of harem lead, he was aware of his situation and his obligation to chose one girl, despite his earnest desire to remain 'friends' with all of them.

I don't particularly agree with his ultimate choice, though there was probably no really wrong choice to be made (except maybe Kaede - that girl would kill you sooner or later). I'd have had to go with Nerine and take advantage of the whole gods and demons are polygamous thing.

Kaede's Character was so fucked up in the anime, the original VN never had a "the anime Kaede".
