I never watched Martian Successor Nadesico, so I can't comment on the plot reference, but it doesn't seem to discount aliens. Or, at least, some silly outer space threat.

And, last I checked Excalibur was a sword that could cut anything about anything, and came with a free sheath of +1 invincibility. I don't see a magic sheath on that mech.

Yes, I'm just being an arthurian fanboy.

Well, whatever. Getting huffy about it isn't going to take that sword away from Galahad anyway, so...

When's Nina gonna die, already? She's gone from "OMG 11s!" to "OMG EUPHEMIA!" to "I'll nuke the school! ZERO!" to "AHAHAHAAHAH I'VE GOT A NUKE!". She can't be that vital to the plot.

As for Lelouch and his backup plan with Guilford I can only say... owned. But I seriously wonder exactly where Suzaku left his brain. Not being able to think about being followed himself was one of those "duh" situations I had in this episode.
I wonder what Kallen will do now. I am quite sure she knows what the reason for the complete blackout is. I don't see her joining the Knights of the rounds though. What I am wondering about is if Kallen knows that Lelouch is actually royalty. So far we only saw her finding out that Lelouch is Zero and thus a citizen of Brittania.
However I could see Gino in his "playful attitude" releasing Kallen in return for having a duel against her.
Another question is what exactly Suzaku told Schneizel about the Geass. As Schneizel can only speculate on what it does, there are tons of possibilities now. Biggest question would be what Schneizel's reaction is going to be if he got to know that the Emperor has a method of altering memories (as even Suzaku doesn't know about the immortality of the Emperor yet).

I've got a really bad feeling about Nunnally in the next episode.
And looks like Tamaki will get pawned or miraculously survive like Patrick (gundam 00) in the next episode.

-After "betrayed" like that Lelouch will never bow down to anybody ever again, and now Suzaku is feeling guilty from the "betrayal", psychologically forced to end the war by destroying Lelouch with "Freya".

-Talking about trust, it seems Lelouch didn't have any trust on Suzaku, making Guilford his "geass slave" for insurance.

-The Excalibur is overpowered, I think it has some barrier/reflective coating on its blade. And Luciano is just another Psychopath.

-Is there any signs that there will be a Gino x Karen end?

Gino X Karen (is it Karen or Kallen?) end?... Well he seems like a joker, so I wouldn't be sure, but there are worse pairings out there :D

Regarding the Guilford geass action: I am quite sure that it was just an insurance for an emergency. Lelouch isn't a mentally challenged kid like Suzuaku when it comes to predicting things and having a reserve option.

Regarding Suzaku and using Freya... I doubt it. I could see him going suicide incase he comes close to Orange and get's Lelouch's Geass wiped off him.

I think Lelouch anticipated Suzaku simply capturing him right away upon meeting with him, and that's why he had Guilford geassed as a back-up. He didn't expect Suzaku to attempt to help him only to turn around and stab him in the back. Suzaku's betrayal against Brittania is almost inevitable. Schneizel used him like a pawn and "has all the cards", Nina wants him to use an incredibly destructive weapon, and the Mirage gets tied up in the next episode with the Lancelot right there. After Suzaku betrays Brittania, I anticipate a quick conversation where Suzaku reveals he didn't betray Lelouch.

Anya won't be the first to switch sides, but I can imagine Gino switching sides first. He has had an interest in Kallen for a while. So I can imagine that if Kallen doesn't switch to the Brittanian side, that Gino will be content to release her and join her. Of course, he will only be first if Suzaku decides to free Lelouch and stay behind to destroy Freya or something.

Also, it's safe to say that Kallen knows Lelouch is royalty. Nunnally is the Governor-General, and I would be surprised if her position as daughter of the Emperor wasn't common knowledge.

Lastly, I'm anticpating that Guilford, Bradley the vampire, and (unfortunately) Nunnally will die. The scene with Nunnally in the preview is making me think the worst will happen.

Mad people start firing at him from the bushes and when the smoke clears they jump out and yell, "BOO!!!"

Gino may nto switch sides now but if he sees Suzaku do it then later he and Anya may jsut do it saying jsut for the fun of it all. If Nunnally does die then...well that means Lelouch has lost his war then. There's no point for him in fighting except to kill everyone now.

For now, Nunnally is probably the safest person in the world. Now that Schneizel knows Lelouch is Zero, he's going to methodically draw Lelouch into a situation which might end in a duel between the two of them. In order to do that, he needs Nunnally alive. They're both playing things out as if it were a game of chess. Lelouch said in the past that Schneizel is the one opponent he's never beaten, so I see the series ending in a way that can be considered his metaphorical break in his brother's winning streak.

I don't know if the Emperor is going to live much longer. In gaining immortality, that kind of closed the deal for him. Most likely, it will have something to do with him unleashing Ragnarök.
