Though I want Hei's powers back, (seeing him without, made me cringe more than once throughout this season) I think he's even more badass now, because of his lack of powers. Killing contractors has become much more difficult, or at least different now. Of course, although Hei did fight before he got his powers from his sister, now, we're seeing how he handled himself then.

But when/if he gains back his powers, I'm gonna be like: Oh, it's on now!


But yeah, he definitely needs his mask back.

Well I watched some episode randomly since it was on a link when I was watching an actual decent anime, Linebarrels of Iron, and I saw Yin have tentacles growing out of her head and some contractors commiting suicide inside The Gate and I was thinking "Wow this is interesting I oughta go back an episode, looks like they got better" but then it went back to what the show had been doing for seven+ episodes and I went "Well thats bothersome" and I stopped watching.

So the show was good for a nice thirty seconds (if that much)

Gah Linebarrels of Iron is so fucking fun to watch :3 Its a shame I'm only on ep.2 so it could face a shitstorm and suck but for now I'm enjoying the fuck out of it.

Suou seems to be acting more and more human each episode, I mean watching episode 11 her voice seems to have actual emotions now.

im not kidding go watch episode 2 all the way back to episode 11 and you will hear some drastic changes

12 episodes is not enough! I can't see how their going to tie it all up in one episode.

That's what is listed on ANN. Maybe they are just taking a break for Christmas, because i was sure they announced that it was going to be a 26 episode series.

Id say, i come back from a hard day of boxing day shopping to find out that it hasn't been subbed yet! :RAGE:.

The last episode tied things together rather quickly but

I didn't expect for it to end on another partial cliffhanger. After the short epilogue bit and the final shot of Hei walking with Yin in his arms I experienced the exact "End of series catharsis" that I felt at the end of the original series. The only question now is whether they'll make another DtB series for us (It seems difficult to continue the current storyline, for obvious reasons.)



If there is another season, who would the heroine be anyway? With Suou and Yin (presumably) gone, it'd fall onto Kirihara or the like XD
