Manga blows in comparsion to the anime. Sure it has unfinished stroylines...who cares. It has a great ending, engaging middle and terrfic beginging. Just stick with that.

I'll agree with you. Elfen Lied is the one that got me into anime too. The ending was very emotional and so far i have not seen an anime that can compare to this master piece. Though the manga and the anime are different. For starters there is an extra character that was never introduced in the anime and in the manga the ending that was shown in the anime is radically different. But i dont wanna give away any spoilers in case you want to read it for yourself. Btw the anime ends around chapter 40 or so but the manga itself has 107 chapters so there is still alot to enjoy from this series.

When i first started watching, it didn't seem to much different than other anime i had seen. I saw the clumsy secretary before in other anime, so let's go along for the ride.But then the secretary gets her head twisted off, and I'm thinking "Damn! that wasn't something i've seen before.

I loved this anime. The story was great, the gore was awesome and Lucy is a goddess. I just hated how it ended, I want to know what happens and 13 ep was too short for it.
