Fate/Stay Night movie announced: Unlimited Blade Works

well since they already made the anime with Shirou falling in love with saber i think they won't show the EXACT outcome of UBW lik Rin x Shirou I think it'll be more of a UBW with edited ending and plot

Well personally I am a Shirou x Saber fan unlike somesome who's got saber complex i hope they make the intense scne from ep 14 even mor epic

I want them to make UBW because of the Epicness that was lost in EP. 14. The actual UBW only lasted a few minutes at most. I'd love to see more of it.

I can't wait for the movie. I've been wanting to see it for a while now ^_^

The VN and anime have the same voice cast BTW so there's little difference.

I loved it in englis, dunno why. Maybe because I first saw anime and then played VN.

I hope it's in several parts because the story is too large to condense into one movie. But it's good news that it's gonna be UBW (If what Shin says is true).

A teaser site has opened for what it describes as the “theatrical version of Fate/stay night.” According to the teaser site, the film version of Type-Moon’s game and anime franchise is “coming soon.” The domain is registered under the name “Geneon Entertainment” by the GMO Internet service provider.

Last September, Funimation released a Fate/stay night anime series box as one of its first anime DVDs from its distribution deal with Geneon Entertainment. Geneon Entertainment had ceased in-house distribution of its own titles in 2007. Tokyopop has been publishing Datto Nishiwaki’s manga version in North America since last October.

Yup, heard about this the other day. I just started playing the fate/stay night visual novel, so this is perfect timing for me.

....If it is based of of UBW... I think I might just fall over in fanboygasms before it even comes out.

This is fucking great. Until now the only things that were really on my radar were the Tales of Vesperia and Eden of the East movies, but now... A F/SN movie? Epic.

The better never replace Sakura I would lose all faith in TypeMoon if they did but HF is my favorite route so I hope that one but more than likely it will be UBW

That wasn't that serious of a statement you know ... It's just my personal preference not to like Sakura (seems to have costed me some rep to, lol). Plenty of good things about the route (Rider, gar Kotomine ...) but I'd still prefer they did UBW.
And yeah, multiple movies in KnK fashion (and with corresponding quality) would own.

Please let it have better animation than the anime.

Please let it have maid Saber.

Will be waiting for it.
