Fate/Zero Anime (TM FES Edition)

The second I heard the phrase "Cthulu ftaghn"....I knew bad shit was about to happen.

I said I wasn't going to watch this...but damn it's good. Liking it a lot better than Fate/Stay so far.

Well I finally caught wiff of the series finally starting.

The fate/stay night anime be DEEN is actually a blasphemy to the original story. So it's obvious that this is better then F/SN the anime. But this doesn't mean that fate/zero is better than the original VN, it's honestly the same quality.

I once again blame DEEN.

And Fate/Zero's anime makes me feel like strangling Zouken now, especially since Fate/Stay Night is still fresh in my memories.

BTW, what year does Fate/Zero take place in? Cause I question the validity of Kiritsugu using a laptop in episode one.

Lol, that scene, had a discussion about that in MAL, in the end we simply just forget about it, because it's not important lol.

I conclude that the laptop is a heroic spirit, FROM THE FUTURE. UNLIMITED BANDWITH WORKS!

Edit: With episode 2, I am now heavily attached to this series. Ilya is so cute and Rider would make a real good friend... I think.

Well, I'm actually not surprised that this is turning out better than the F/SN anime, simply because DEEN decided to mesh those three scenarios together from the original VN. That isn't the case here, because F/0 was originally a light novel, something much more linear than a VN, and therefore, much easier to make an anime out of.

Actually, whose decision was it to mesh Fate, UBW and HF together? :S



Fate/zero was never a VN. Are you referring to the original Fate/stay night VN?

I haven't read the manga, so I went wtf at Kirei Kotomine, and also at Kiritsugu and his partner (for the latter, I honestly like where this is going).

Gotta regive props to Kajiura Yuki for giving such awesome theme songs (I especially liked the one near the end with rider and his master sitting on top of the bridge)

Finally, why did it have to end at such an awesome moment :(

VN? For Zero? There was none. It was originally a Light Novel if my memory serves me right.

The first major battle. It's going to be epic. If you've read the light novel then you'll know it'll be epic.

Episode three was nice. Can not wait for the next episode.

After watching the 3rd episode, I noticed that some scenes looked like they popped right outta a VN game event CG, even though I knew this is adapted from a novel. Being the itchy-fingered guy I am, I couldn't resist making a fake game screenshot from a screencap of the episode. This is the result after half an hour of noob Photoshopping.
