[General] Do you learn names of characters quickly?

BTW why were you watching it on youtube? Don't tell you haven't saved it on your HDD? lol
I own the DVDs. I was watching it on YouTube because I wanted to watch that clip again and didn't feel like putting the DVD on.

Yeah, noise from my PS3 or a DVD player is annoying - they need to make them completely silent, even if they are dusty.

Never was good with names so I used a description of whatever that character did that was special and people normally knew who it was.

It's not that hard, what's important is the screen time of the character or the times it is mentioned.

I find it really easy to remember the character names, especially when I'm really interested in the series, I even remember the names of minor characters who sometimes only make one appearance in the entire thing for even only a few seconds. Yet I suck with actual people's names

I normally can remember them and some times I remember when I hear the name who it is.
I some times have trouble remembering how to say or spell a characters name or even the shows name like Inuyasha was hard to grasp till I watch the show but I still can't remember how to say the Scientific Rail gun shows name. I think it also depends how they use characters names in a series as well like I think some times they don't say a persons name that much and when they do they are too formal some times.

When the character has a name that I've seen a thousand times in other anime, like Misaki or something, then it becomes pretty hard to remember.

I always thought it was strange how I always know the characters from anime that I watch, but I can never recall their names automatically. I need to see or hear something that'll remind me.

Really depends on who the character is and what anime I am watching. If I find that character to be great, then I will be certain to learn his name. But generally, yeah, I tend to know the names of most characters.

It takes me quite a while to know the names of characters. Even after 20 episodes, i only know the names of half of the cast.

I can remember their names pretty quick, but I'm good at memorizing, even unconciously. Soooo, no problem for me remembering
