When it comes to Haruhi season 2, I will always remain skeptical until the final product gets released, or aired, in this case.

Like the information ImperialX has posted, I have been reading quite a bit of news concerning the Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody episode. Although it appears to be optimistic for Haruhi fans, one can never tell what stunt Kadokawa may pull.

And there is always the problem of fansub groups taking up the project since they may not have planned for these new episodes in their respective schedules.
