Have you ever cried from watching an anime?

I have cried on a few occasions such as Wolf's Rain, Welcome to the NHK, Kita he ~Diamond Dust Drops~, and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. I don't remember crying when I was watching Airtv, but it usually depends on the mood that I am in when I'm watching it.

I was bareley keeping it together when major Hughes died in FullMetal Alchemist! cry

but i was watching it with my siblings, so i can't shed any tears


as for other anime: Kanon (2006)(MAKOTO!!!), Air (almost did)

and both of Akiha's endings in TsukiHime was super depressing... if it was animated and voiced, plus good directing, i should have cried

there were some other anime that made me wanna cry, but i can't really recall

well i cry all the time watching Lucky Star
but thats jus because its so funny

umm im pretty sure i was teary at the end of tsukihime
yeah that was depressing

Im truly a heartless bastard and i admit it but to make me cry other than inflicting IMMENSE amounts of pain, these animes just made me so sad i had to.

<insert spoiler warning here> and because I know most people would b angry if they were just skimming through the post highlight protection is added (just highlight after the series to see)

Full Metal Alchemist- Hughes death made me cry like a little baby :cry: his daughters non understanding of the moment is what broke me in. The ending of the movie also made me break just to see that the brothers made it their goal at such a high price of not being able to see thier old home and the loss of alchemy. but did it without any regrets and were completly satisfied.

Air- O wow where do i start. Every single character's drama ending made me want to cry me a river (only one that ever did was the little red haird devil) and then the ending of both the movie and the series left me to a complete emo mess

one time i really got tears in one full metal when Maes Hughes dies and they are at his funeral and his daughter say "why are they putting daddy in the ground"....brings tears to a grown man eyes :cry:

That was a really sad episode I almost cried in that one too.

yeah that in my top anime sad moments.

No me mate it seems u dont get the point we the ones who cry, who actually are the ones who feel the anime most out of it u dont call tht girlie but rather sentimental my mate. Savvy ??

I'm pretty sure that was Grave of the Fireflies too. I teared up a bit at the end also. But seriously, it's one of the saddest anime movies ever... EVAR.

two TsukiHime endings made me depressed, but the route was never animated: i played through the visual novel :P (i wish they just had the Sun ending with a harem-style route: something like KyoAni's Kanon)

I think Anime is the only thing, I've cried at, in the last 10 years.
Pretty scary.

The only anime that has brought me to tears was after watching samuraiX reflecton and in the end when Kenshin dies. It just seemed realy sad.

I cried when Nuriko, Hotohori, Chiriko, and Mitsukake died from Fushigi Yugi and also at the last OVA TT__TT I also cried from Fruits Basket, X, and others that Ive seen
