Have you ever cried from watching an anime?

I had a emotional moment during Ah! My goddess series (I can't remember what episode) but it was when Belldandy was under the effect of a drug.



It only happened once, when I re-watch it I just can't get the same feeling I had before :P

I cry mantears at the end of almost any good anime (depending on how late at night it is)

For the anime I've cried in, it has got to be Kanon, Clannad, and in Zero no Tsukaima second season when i thought saito dies.

Let's see... when I was a kid I cried while watching Pokemon one time. Anyone remember "Bye Bye Butterfree" in the first season?

Strange thing is "Pikachu's Goodbye" never got the same reaction out of me. Probably because I knew they were pulling my leg, trying to tell me they were getting rid of the show's star pokemon.

More recently, I cried at the end of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha and Nanoha A's. If by "mantears" Hibia means "oh christ that was friggin' awesome" tears, then I had a few of those during Fate/Stay Night specifically during episode 14 ('course, I think everyone cried sometime during episode 14). I cried right at the end of Fate/Stay Night and at several points along the way, like that tender moment between Rin and Sakura just before Gilgamesh's appearance.

The show isn't "sad", but as I watched it I was going "My god, somewhere out there (likely the writer) knows exactly how I feel." The entire deal with Keitaro, college, and Narusegawa felt like a chapter ripped from my life and put on screen.

Grave of the Fireflies had me bawling. Cowboy Bebop wrenched a good cry and $50 from my wallet for the box-set soundtrack. Millennium Actress earned a hearty sob session.

And that's about it, that I can remember anyway.

i cried when son goku died for the first time. i cried watching 'kimi ga nozomu eien'. and i recently cried after watching some episodes of clannad. T_T

Hmm, these are always interesting topics and usually all the same shows are listed for whatever forum happens to have this. I'm going to be the first to say Gundam SEED. It was the first serious anime I watched and I admit to crying like a baby when

FMAl, Cowboy Bebop, Elfen Lied have all choked me up.

Oh and Wolf's Rain of course, that was so sad. I cried during that and feel no shame in admitting it.

Can't say I cried for that part, but I'll freely admit I was shocked he was the first one--hell, the only one--of the Zaft pilots to die.

'Course, I think that was the moment we realized they were going to do things to the characters we weren't expecting, which made the series that much more riveting. I was really truly afraid during the tail end of Destiny that Lunamaria wasn't going to be alive at the end of the series. She had just the right combination of expendability and significance that the producers could've taken advantage of for a severe emotional impact,

I've only cried over two shows: The Samurai X OVAs, where Tomoe dies in Trust and Betrayal, and Advent Children whenever they play Aeris' theme music. It's so beautiful~! ;_;

Never really cried. The School Days ending did made me sad for some time, though.

Code Geass, at the big "plot twist" towards the end. That just killed the whole possibility of having any type of happy ending. Unless they go with the "it was all a dream" ending, but that's just wrong.

Well I never cried out lound for any anime but felt sad mainly for two reason first maybe its the last episode or someone died ...

Some anime made me sad are

Samurai X OVA (especially the last episode)
Fushigi Yuugi (when I was very young)
Hell Girl (some selective episodes)

etc etc coz at this moment I can't remember anymore ...

I cried to all visual art's Anime : AIR, KANON, CLANNAD
even visual art's early game I cried : Planetarian ~The Reverie of a Little Planet~ it's a visual novel, about a junker who meets a guide robot.

I think that was Euphemia Li Britannia, that scene didn't make me cry, it made me mad instead.
