Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

higurashi. "Even if you don't go looking for the curse, it'll come to you"

Higurashi is a great show with plot twists and creepy kids abound... but the end of the second season kind of disappointed me. I mean, hooray for the characters, they finally got a 'good end'.

But what about the devote fans who originally got into the show for it's horrific violence and mindfuckage?

true, but the fact that there was a good end means the end of the series.

As soon as a good end appears, the end of ryukishi's series is there.

That's the whole point with his series.

Keep on having horrible endings that are part of a time loop, to finally have the main characters break out of that time barrier.

So, I was watching the LA movie and at the end it had a small promo for an OVA that comes out 2.25.09

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni Rei is the name if you don't know it will contain (from what I know) 5 episodes and I can't wait either.

Anyway, I perfer the first season over the second one, because it's really fucked up and totally confuses you the first time.

Yeah, the first season was better. Second season was doing good 'til they messed up the conclusion... Though Rei seems interesting and from what I hear, Rika is the one who goes crazy. :twisted:

I'm a huge Higurashi fan and I can't wait for the 3rd season. I don't care if it will be short, I WANT MORE BLOODY LOLI ACTION. I love an anime that keeps me guessing, never knowing whats going to happen next. I had many "WTF" moments while watching Higurashi, and I'll continue to have those moments as I fall in love with this anime.

WHAT!? I thought it was suppose to air this month.

It was but they pushed it back to February.

The way I think of it, just more time to make it even better. This anime is worth the wait.
