Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

This is really exciting news! I've started to read this manga recently and I really like it so far. What do you guys think? Do you think the series will work in animated form?

Agreed. The article didn't say what studio was doing it, but let's just hope that it's one that has a good track record with other shoujo series.

I'm really happy to see Kaichou wa Maid-sama getting an anime. This is one of my favourite shoujo mangas.

I predict an anime original ending like Ouran though. The manga doesn't seem like it's ending any time soon.

i think it just might work (i'm hoping for anyway...) i love kaichou wa maid-sama!!! Usui and Misaki are cute together ;3 and usui is hot... there's also misaki's childhood friend and the hypnotizing guy with glasses... *_* lots of bishounen... i must watch that anime!!

Anyhow, I've probably told you this before but I've always been avoidant/picky about watching (high)school-centric themed animes. It's just crazy how I can't seem to enjoy how typical they are, that you wouldn't get it no matter how hard I try to explain it. Sure, I make room for some special cases here and there, but that is mostly due to how much personal a peculiar premise can get to me. And since I don't even like maids to begin with, add the animation not being up to standards of what I deem acceptable for a JCStaff production, I'm finding it hard to get intimate with this series so to speak.

Well oh well, you know fully well that I would still be watching it anyway. :wink:

i liked ep.1 but not to much

I like the it so far. I still find it cute how Takumi says that him knowing Misaki is a maid at a maid cafe is for his personal enjoyment. ^^

I've read some of the manga and seen the first two episodes, and I like what I see.

The 1st two episodes is very promising... shes really cute in the maid outfit O.o
