Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

I just watched the first episode. It was hilarious.

Sooo... Its been like almost 3 months since anyone posted about Kaichou wa Maid-sama - or in this thread at least.

However, I think the latest development of is something worthy of discussion.

So basically I want to point out two things: One, anyone picking sides on which fella? And two: I want to have Usui's babies.

yea not a lot of talk on this anime, I haven't seen latest episode, bu I could prob give u my opinion, but after I watch newest episode ^^

I'm on the Usui side. His antics are the main reason I started watching the show, so obvious choice is obvious.
Plus, from an objective point of view, childhood friend just came in too late, and couldn't get enough developement to be worth of taking Misaki away.

True Hinata came in way too late in the story, but I like his type, Usui is too forward for my tastes, his antics half the time came off as annoying imo, but this is all just my point of view. I am on Hinata's side.

I agree. I'm pretty much on the Usui side, but I could have been easily swayed if Hinata had come into the story earlier. I really do like him, and the history that he has between Misaki. I liked how in the latest episodes, Usui has been even more protective, and I can't wait for the two to finally clash, and for Misaki to make her decision. Unfortunately, with only three episodes left, I don't know how much of that will happen.

The manga isn't done (I'm like 90% sure about this) so there can definitely be a season two.

Unfortunately, most shojo adaptations get their own unique endings a la Ouran Host Club. But maybe if they don't have a clear indication as to Misa and Usui's relationship, they'll have a second season like arakawa under the bridge. So cross your fingers.

Yeah. I would definitely want a season 2 either way, but hopefully we will get a decent ending like Ouran High School Host club either way.

Eeeee! Episode 24's ending left me wondering what happened!

Hehe, I definitely agree with you there. Hinata is just too cute for words.

Looks like things will come to a head between the love triangle next episode, though. Can;t wait. :)

Yep, on both things you said there, rly can't wait till ep 25, side note: lack of Aoi-chan made me sad, I always want more Aoi ^^

OHMAIGAD when Hinata barked back at Usui I almost lost it. Why does he have to be so adorable!?!?! I can't betray Usui, but Hinata deserves to be happy too...

Haha, I agree. I've been falling for Hinata more as more, and especially with episode 25 because we learned so much about him. I know in my heart that he's not going to be with Misaki....but I can still dream!

exactly, that scene was too much for me, ofc I am on Hinata's side, I just want to see him happy, is that rly too much to ask for? T_T

I really hope they continue another season ): I really want to see the rest of the manga get turned into an anime season.

I end up feeling so bad for Hinata because he means so well and he's a super nice guy, but Usui deserves her just as much x3

That right there, I was very disappointed with this final episode, especially since I am on Hinata's side.

Btw Ziggy, I wanna read the manga now cuz well, I wanna see the rest, would you happen to know where I should start reading having seen these past 26 episodes? I don't rather like reading pages that I've already seen animated .

Start from chapter 33 which comes after the final episode, cause chapter 32 is where they kiss on the festival and although you see Magic Latte (episode 25, right?) on chapter 33 that's the best chapter from where you should start from.

Or, you could read from chapter 30 and see the differences between the last episode of the anime and the manga, they made a lot of changes if you ask me.

Not really content with the ending... almost as if they were making room for S2.
