Let's not forget SHAFT's original purpose with this anime. If they give it a "happily ever after" ending now, they will be completely ruining everything they've built this up to be.

Spoiler:
True, but if they go for the complete opposite, then it's just the same thing that's happened in various incarnations before, (and will just end in another time alteration). There has to be some neural ground/balance to all of this.

I agree that a nice bad end is nice, but I don't want an end where Homura is basically trapped in a time loop.
and On the contrary, A Happy end,
Spoiler:
where she can actually stop, Madoka from Dying is gonna be a good happy end. There's nothing wrong with that. I just want to see an End where Homura can actually fulfill her Promise to Madoka.
And I don't remember that Shaft or even Gen promised us a bad end, I only remembered that they're going to deviate from the mahou shoujo archetype
Look At Fate/Zero, It ended bitterly but also happy too.

I disagree and agree.
Spoiler:
The original intention of Madoka, as stated by Gen, was not to pit the girls into a pit of hopeless death nor to present a bad ending- it was to deconstruct the Mahou Shoujo genre (which it has done, arguably). That is what I disagree with.
The build up of the story actually does suggest that a bad ending IS be the most logical, however. Notice the following, which is a very typical build-up in time loop stories, and remember that the goal is for Madoka to NOT turn into a mahou shoujo.
First loop: Madoka starts out as a mahou shoujo, she dies.
Second loop: Madoka starts out as mahou shoujo, she turns into a witch.
Third loop: Madoka starts out as a mahou shoujo (assumed), she is mercy killed by Homura.
Fourth loop: Madoka is NOT a mahou shoujo, and only turns into one at the very end.
Fifth loop: Current loop.
The key difference is between the third and fourth loop, in which we see the complete switch around due to Homura's interference (and personality break). At first glance, this may appear to be the setup for a happy ending, as Homura may be able to "push" that tiny bit into Madoka not becoming a witch at the end. However, assuming that Madoka follows along logical path action, this will most likely not be the case, for the reason I will explain below.
When writing stories, one of three things needs to happen.
1. The character must accomplish his/her goals (happy or bittersweet),
2. the character must abandon and find a new goal (happy or bittersweet),
3. or the character must fail his/her goal (bittersweet or bad).
All characters by default start out aiming for case #1. All of the three (especially #1) require a character that is willing and able to pursue their goal, along with effort and action to reach that goal. A couple more finely attuned to the nuances of action might see where I'm going here.
Obviously, #2 is out. Why? We have not seen any change in Homura from arc 4 to arc 5. As Arc 5 is the concluding arc, and there were no hints of her having any other goal in mind besides saving Madoka, she will not be changing her goal. If the writer tries to pull this (something like Homura chooses to live with Madoka, simply repeating each loop and enjoying it, instead of trying to save her) then I will be sorely disappointed.
This leaves between endings 1 and 3. The reason I say that 3 (bad end) is most likely is because Homura is going at Arc 5 with the same approach she did with Arc 4. She failed last time, and she refused to change her method, so she's set herself up for failure this time.
HOWEVER, I do not want the bad ending. The reason being is that for this show to have any meaningful conclusion, we need to have Homura either die (since she will NOT give up her goal, with her established personality) or a happy ending. I do not wish for her to die, after all she's developed into since her beginning in this story, which is observable below (particularly noteworthy is how the roles seem to be changed):
If she is simply stuck in time loop, no action has taken place over the entire story- no change.
There is still a single setup for a happy ending, however (at least, from what I've noticed; I'm sure I've missed a couple). We see that Homura broke her stoic nature in front of Madoka when she almost made a contract with Kyubey. This means that if she's going to change for anyone, it will be Madoka. Madoka needs to, in these last two episodes, invoke a change in Homura, or a happy ending will be forced.

Unless the writer thinks of something completely out of the box and logical (as in, Ever17 levels of "oh!"), it seems that the above is all that can occur that won't lower my expectations of this show.
And the fact that I wrote all this above should serve as testament to how badly I want to see Madoka succeed.

Well...
Spoiler:
As it says in The Shaft Bible. Madoka died for our sins. I am not sure where the rest of the story is told, but most likely its in the Book of Houmra and the other disciples.
As for your question about who's God, well that depends on which side you're on, do you follow The Shaft Bible, or the Book of Kyo-Ani two different religions, two different Gods.
Anyways, yep everything you said right there Imperial, including all the caps, great anime is great. Oh also
Best scene though has to be Homura vs Walpurgisnacht since Madouka's wasn't really a fight, its more like instant kill. Though the ending is a bit sad I am kind of glad they didn't bring back Sayaka. Though I have a question still, if Homura inherited madoka's power then does that make her the most OP existence in the series now that madoka is chilling in the GOD tier?
OVERALL, i have to say Homura's my favourite character now, her character development was imo the best, Mami use to be my favourite but after this ending HOMURA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn, was I ever more wrong. I really didn't expect that Madoka would be the one that forces Homura to abandon her goal and pick up a new one. Well done.
I was speechless by the end of episode 11. Although the beginning of chapter 12 started to slip, I started to enjoy the ambiguous ending near the end. Great job SHAFT.
There's so much money to be made in this franchise, so I can only hope that this won't get a second season.

There is no way this can get a second season. Unless its going to be the endless 8 version of Homura Akemi.
So Madoka became a god pretty much right? No more witches, just demons. Magical girls don't become witches and their soul gems just disappear. Kinda sucks no one remembers Madoka besides Homura. I still don't really get why Sayaka disappeared though.

Spoiler:
Screw Haruhi-ism, Madoka-ism is where it's at.
well i am going to have to guess that it's because she's the only one that turned into a witch or it could be that because she was made to be disliked

Shaft did say they were considering a season two but it would be a normal slice of life anime without all of the witches, magic and all that stuff. They said they wanted bath scenes too. Madoka is currently holding the top 6 spots on Amazon's DVD/BD page for best sellers. If it sells as much as Bakemonogatari and K-ON then the chance that it does get that second season is rather high.
