Most touching anime/manga

I've started this as my first ever time to post a topic on fakku. My question to any who read this is, what is the most emotionally touching anime or manga you have watched or read? for me personally it was the manga ichigo 100% which made me cry many times, so please share with the community. P.s. Sorry for sloppieness of post, posting on iPod touch at 1:31am.

For anime i've got to say between clannad or kanon too hard to choose.

Edit:Forgot to put in a thought for manga, Ai Yori Aoshi was the one that got me.

For anime, it's clannad, hands down.

As for manga...hmm...sayonara zetsubou sensei. although it touches me in a totally different way...

Definitely Kanon with CLANNAD being a close second in anime.
As for manga I would choose Bitter Virgin. Then again that's probably the only touchy manga I've ever read.

I'm currently watching clannad and I can see why people would say that series.
But as for specific episode right now I would say...
Not sure on manga though...

I'm extremely emotional, so a lot of animes get to me. Clannad ~After Story~ takes the cake though. I cried a lot during the Honey and Clover series and the Natsume Yuujinchou seasons even.

It's got to be Saikano (Saishuu Heiki Kanojo / She, The Ultimate Weapon) for me. Watching the 13(+2 OVA) series has been the most painful thing I've done in my life (in terms of anime-viewing). There's just no space for laughter in this one, not even an ounce of dark humor and such. It was very serious from start to finish, mainly due to its horrid theme and atmosphere. Despite being sci-fi in general, it was more than realistic enough in every other aspect. It's a very sad, tragic, and anguish-filled love-story all in all. It's not much of a tearjerker but hell, the way that it stabs like a knife, deep inside, hurts so much.

Now that I've mentioned it, I have yet to actually finish its manga - which is, for a fact, more agonizing in every step of the way...

I found I"s very touching. The story compelled made me want to protect Iori from any harm. I loved the interaction between Seto and Iori, I'm a sucker for love stories. Also, the fan service was a plus as well.

For anime gotta go with Peacemaker Kurogane...and manga, probably Shin Angyo Onshi or Tsubasa reservoir chronicles

The manga Bitter Virgin. It's a more realistic one rather than some of the manga/anime mentioned in this thread where tragedy is shoved down your throat in spades.

I’ll third Bitter Virgin it was by far the most emotional manga I have ever read. It’s so crushing it makes all others look like walks in the park.

For anime, I'm tied between Clannad ~After Story~ and Saikano. Close second is Honey&Clover. I usually enjoy watching anime but watching these melts my heart and makes me cry a bit on the saddest parts.

The manga counterpart for me would be Bitter Virgin.
