Every era has its own good shows, to each their own. However, I find older anime titles are more memorable than newer ones.

^ What he said. What makes me sad is people's definition of moe has narrowed into something simple and mindless like "cute girls doing/saying something cute". And this trend of making more Slice of Life or fanservice anime will continue as long as these kinds of genre keep bringing in more cash than "non-moe" animes. It's not that I hate them (I'm a big SoL fan) but there are other works worthy of getting an anime adaptation and it's sad if studios won't bother to check on them because they are not profitable enough for their business.
