Im downloading episode 19 at the moment, gonna watch it tomorrow.

The ending of episode 18 really made me laugh, the part when the pom poms fell out of the sky and hit Mio, I had to pause to laugh after Yuuko's reaction.

SO MUCH WIN.

And so it ends. Fitting to its title, there wasn't anything out of the ordinary for this final episode. Personally, I adored KyoAni's latest work. Although the sketches had varying levels of quality, the series in general was very enjoyable. This is one show I will be very sad to see ending, and I'm almost certain we're not going to see a sequel in any way given the disappointing Blu-Ray sales.

It's definitely 8/10 and the best comedy so far this year for me. I look forward to KyoAni's next projects. Whatever it is, be it a sequel to Lucky Star, Haruhi, Full Metal Panic, an adaptation of Little Busters or just another anime based off an obscure such as Nichijou, I'm sure this studio isn't going to let me down.

sure it still got some laughs but it knows that because it's the final episode,it has some heartwarming moments.

i wouldn't mind to own the complete set of DVD/Blu-ray of this series.

my score would be 9/10 for this series.

Yeah, I felt kind of sad about it ending, since this anime was kind of special to me so I'll truly miss it. Liked it a lot, I will give it a 9/10 cause some episodes could have been better but still I truly feel this one will be the best comedy of the year IMO.

This was one of my favorites this year, I love the randomness.

Yeah, Nichijou is basically where Azumanga Daioh meets Cromartie High School. If you liked it, there's a fair chance you'll like one or both of those.

Let's see, an overall assessment of the series. The art was well-done, the music was decent but not memorable (besides perhaps the OPs). No character development or plot to speak of. The jokes were hit and miss, but the ones that hit were HILARIOUS. Especially the over-the-top Gainax-esque action sequences. Characters were also hit an miss - I couldn't stand the Professor for example - but since screen time is split between a large cast you don't have to worry about one particularly whiny character running the show. I'd probably put it somewhere in the 7/10 range - definitely worth watching, but its no masterpiece.

Definitely a favourite for me, and it makes it in my top 10.

I have enjoyed Nichijou greatly. It's even better the more people you watch it with. In its honor, I have changed my avatar.

I never thought this day would come. A non To LOVE-Ru avatar. You must have really loved this show (which is awesome).

Don't make me go back to using the Mikado avatar ... you know I'll do it. Joking (and the fact that I haven't used TLR avatars exclusively) aside, I really did enjoy this anime that much. I'd have changed my avatar even if Nano's shirt in this scene didn't add yet another meaning to my namesake.
