Having Money go to the creator can only support more such creations. I think you missed the point. Taking Velvet Kiss from Fakku does not limit the ability for anyone to read it online seeing how it's still on a bunch of other manga hosting sites. Then of course since Soba-Scans wanted it removed then it's Jacob's duty to remove it. Basically, having the virtual version on Fakku doesn't prevent people from buying the real version because unlike normal manga, normal non-scanlating people only buy the physical copy because they like having a physical copy of it. Not to simply read it. Thus taking Velvet Kiss off of Fakku to (not really)"force" people to buy the manga doesn't really work.

The actual manga is going to look the same as it always has. No actual censoring, but the genitals aren't drawn. If you've read it when it was scanlated, it will look the same in the print version.

I think you kind of missed my point also. I’m not saying it’s not available I’m just saying people with the money to support bring translated version to the English speaking world are now seeing the value of doing so and that can only be a positive for us lovers of the arts ^_^ it’s just the attitude that it being taken down is a bad thing I disagree with. Fakku as chosen to like soba scan to support the artist(or more likly the professional translators) by pushing there viewers to the physical copies and even if that money doesn’t go to the artist itself it goes to any future art of that artist being brought over too. I know you can still find it but it’s just a little easier now to find a physical copy and you should or at least I think that should be a happy thing for you. Rejoice that now our art is being valued(by those with the money if not the love), each copy to be translated is just a little more money backing those who truly love what they do and show us that love through their art.
So ya in summery it’s the “this is bad” attitude I was commenting about not the availability itself.

It's true that taking Velvet Kiss off Fakku won't limit its distribution but I still think it was right to ask that it be taken off Fakku. If someone was out to get Velvet Kiss without buying it, it's almost impossible to stop that with the power of the Internet. But scanlators should do what ever is in their power to support it, even if it's a wasted effort.
