I watched the whole thing, it was good even with the camrip.
And the Mazui people had to do alot of fixing up on the cam version, such as all of the lightings and shiz.

By the way, if someone licenses the anime, does that mean any kind of movie that comes from it is also licensed by them?

No. Or at least, not always. Funimation had to license the Eden of the East movies separately, even though they are inseparable to the series' plot, unlike Haruhi.

so it finished downloading, checked the first few minutes, wow the quality [of the rip] is bad, wouldn't like to imagine what it would have been like if mazui did not fix it up, the disclaimer before the movie was pretty spot on. The movie itself starts of well, with Haruhi out in full force... Now if only a DVD or even better BD rip comes out, endless 8 will be nothing but a figment of the imagination

Movie was awesome, even when watching the camrip. Everyone should watch it despite the poor video quality, that's how good it is. I honestly don't even know where to start, since I enjoyed every minute of it, sans credit sequence (and even that had an interesting song to go with it). The whole thing was a ... "powerful" production.

I wasn't going to watch the camrip at first...I was determined to wait for the DVD...but I decided to download the camrip just to see how the quality was...not terrible but obviously not good, but I just got hooked straight away, I couldn't stop watching! Amazing movie!

Season 2 left almost every fan disappointed, but this movie was just so good I've forgiven the bullshit that was endless night, if your not going to go for the camrip then I can at least say you've got a huge treat waiting for you when the DVD comes out. I can't wait to watch it all over again because it truly was mind-blowingly good, I'm hoping we get to see more of Haruhi and Co in the future, it's a story I find difficult to tear myself away from now.

Very good movie, but VERY long though! To me KyoAni made me forgive for the Endless Eights which I had to endure too....

One word: Superb.

KyoAni really outdid themselves this time around, and I almost want to forgive them for their disastrous Endless Eight. Mind you, when the dvd for Disappearance does come out, all past crimes of Endless Eight will be forgotten.

I have fallen in love with the OST that came from the movie. The scenes were vastly improved by the accompanying bgm. Seriously, who would think that Haruhi is the only one that could pull of Latin chanting in the background?



The art wasn't in moefied K-on! style --- it was more like the first season. At nearly 3 hours long, I'm sure it could have gotten the slots of the Endless Ei--okay, I'm nearly forgetting it even happened. Besides, Vanishment in movie form is suuuuuuuuper great.

I don't have any objections to the movie. Well, I did rage over Kyon pushing not-so-emotionless Yuki against the clubroom wall. Kyon, you stupid animal! Keep your emotions to your internal monologues. Did I mention that they were alone?



So yeah. Superb.

Umm... put yourself in Kyon's shoes for a second, then try to imagine what you would do in that situation. Imagine waking up one day, everything seems normal, you start to walk to school, when suddenly you find that your friends don't know what your talking about when it comes to just about everything. You walk into your classroom to find that regular person we all know and have come to love that sits directly behind you has been replaced by the person that tried to kill you. All of your supernatural friends have been replaced by normal people that have no idea who you are (and even getting beat up by a friend of one of them). I would be a little more than desperate to get a reaction.

I know. It's from an outsider's point of view that I criticize Kyon, since I am a viewer and a watcher...

...Now, for the other bit. Reaction? If I were in Kyon's shoes at that moment? If I was suddenly transported to an altered world where an eccentric classmate that kept my world upside down disappears completely -- to sum it up, a peaceful life?...

There's a very big chance I wouldn't answer Yuki's [READY? YES] escape program. Most humans, me included, would like to live a controlled life. In contrast to me, Kyon, even though how much he desires a peaceful life, really loves the adventures and mishaps happening around Haruhi. An alien, a time traveler, and an esper...

It would be a dull life without these oddities but I'm sure I can survive without them. Boring? Yes. Uneventful? Of course. The kind of life I want? Preferably so.

Can't Wait to see this, i hear its really good. do you think they'll release an english dub version of the movie?

I too already have the pirated version but I didn't watch it yet.

I'd like to watch it in HD. but if I get really really bored I might as well watch the pirated version anyway.

Can you guys post a link so I can download it?.. also is it at least Xvid in quality?

18th December release...how likely is a proper sub before Christmas, I wonder? Does any decent group care enough any more to try? :p
