I'm going with the Mazui version. I just started playing it, and the quality is up to my "standards" so far. I really don't feel life waiting for a slightly higher quality version.

So I just watched this. Watching Mazui subs won't let the experience quality decrease, I still felt all the emotional rollercoaster from this movie. There's no "significant" difference that will ruin it.
and I honestly think it redeemed itself for the fiasco they did in the 2nd season.

just finished watching this...the stream was fine by the way, this movie was very emotional especially from the stand point of kyon. felt like at one point kyon was ready to kill himself, but he seemed to redeem himself. pretty good movie all around

@Kaimax, I just remembered that the Camrip of this movie was 1.02gb, so I think the DVD rip be much more larger than 2gb to be exact, although I could know the exact size by just taking the torrent, but I'm also afraid to see its size, its probably massive.

I finished the Movie last night...And it was glorious. It more then exceed expectations. I'm not going to say much about the plot for fear of spoilers, let's just say it was pretty twisted(in a good way). It was really nice seeing Nagato show some real emotion, I had to pause to take screen shots, she was just too cute! The animation was top-notch, the best I've seen this year. And as mentioned above, the story is very good, more than worth the living hell that was endless eight. In short: I suggest, no I demand, that everyone here go see this as soon as humanly possible.

For those of you who are confused, Mazui's 1080p version is the "share raw", which has subpar bitrate. For me, this is a no-go. If you're not a diehard quality freak, I guess it's fine but I'd still get the real BDRips from Doki or Coalgirls when they're available.
Personally I bought the BD. This movie is the best thing I've seen in years of watching anime and is worth every cent.

I can't believe that I made this thread over a year ago, but Dissappearance was well worth the long wait. Shortly before the movie was released, I finished the novel version so that I would be able to compare and such. I must say, the movie was definitely superior to the novel in several key points. Plus, the animation and music was all top notch. It's definitely one of my favorite anime movies, ever.
