I remember reading a good amount of One Piece and Kimi Ni Todoke on one manga back in the day, so I am a bit taken aback by this announcement. However, hopefully something positive will come from all of these sites coming down, such as more manga being localized, better options for obtaining manga, and more obscure manga series being translated in a professional manner.

I don't know if you misunderstood my tone of statement or what I was suggesting overall. The end of OneManga is not 'over' as they stated they'll still have their forums and their community will still be alive.
However, browsing manga and so forth will not be available to you on there anymore, which is why I was suggesting a way to keep up with your favorite manga ;|

But, no - nothing I said was an assumption for anyone, it was just a general 411 on their ongoing manga they enjoy reading, just in case anyone was concerned about where to find it.

This affects everyone, everywhere. It does not matter where the server is. The Japanese publishers do not want their manga, even if it's unlicensed outside of Japan, on the internet illegally.

Mangatoshokan took down most of their manga scans. Only leaving Korean and Chines Manhuas.
Mangafox is still up. (for the time being I suppose)
Animea is also still up.

man when i read the message on the site my heart dropped i guess all things come to an end. it just fucking sucks that it had to go down like that. i had a lot of good times on that site may it rest in peace.
