Which Gundam series do you think is the best?

I have only watched Gundam Seed and Wing but I vote for Gundam Seed

SEED/Destiny is indeed superior IMO when it comes to the Gundams, and Strike Freedom is on my list of the top 5 Gundams:
1:Zabanya-Gundam 00 A Wakening of the Trailblazer (if you seen what this guy does you'll understand)
2:DeathScythe Hell- Gundam Wing Endless Waltz
3:Strike Freedom- Gundam SEED Destiny
4:DeathScythe- Gundam Wing
5:God Gundam- G Gundam

I love gundam wing. It was the very first gundam series I've seen, and it was the series that started my obsession for mecha anime.

I grew up watching Gundam Wing, so its my favorite. But all three of the UC OVA's, 08 MS Team, War in a Pocket and Stardust Memory are right there.

It's funny that people are applauding the stories of Gundam SEED and 00. Both of those series basically rehashed stuff done in earlier series. SEED redoes a lot of First Gundam, and 00 is similar to Gundam Wing in the first season and all but identical to Zeta in the second season. Not to mention how SEED Destiny practically stole Kamille and Four's relationship from Zeta.

I love Gundam 00, but I love it for the kickass suits and fighting. The story is great, but it's Zeta's story, done a long time before.

08th MS Team and Gundam Wing for me, I used to watch those all the time.

I've always been partial to Gundam Wing since that was my first Gundam series.

SEED having the most vote is a goddamn blasphemy.

Victory is in the top of my list honestly, I really liked how Usso grew up too despite being one of the youngest Gundam pilots, and I really admired his discipline and quick growth when he willingly took that punch of discipline from Oliver face on (no complaints too!).
Well of course, Z Gundam is also top tier, and in my opinion 00 too as well as Turn A. Duh, 0079 too being the original XP

I grew up with Wing and really liked SEED during my teenage years: it being one of the series that I appreciated very much.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I just have to smh at some of these responses. I'll go with Zeta Gundam. It was so far ahead of its time that it continues to influence current and future gundam series.

correct... but the main reason i really enjoyed it was it was guerrilla warfare not some light speed warfare in space...

totally agree, 0083 op song was still my one fav song.

My fave is Zeta Gundam for its story and its famous Tomino kill them all traits. The story for Zeta is darker and showing us how the Federation which is known as the "good guys" could change themselves into something dirtier than the Zeon aka "Titan"

And this also the only series of Gundam where the winner of Gryps War is not A.E.U.G nor Titans. It is Neo Zeon, Haman Karn.

The only thing that sucks from this series is how Paptimus dies because being unable to move his MS to evade the Zeta Body blow lol.

For the other story aspect i think Unicorn will be my second fav but well it is not finished yet here.

Nothing wrong with a rehash, it makes all the good stuff in better quality. The original gundam series has a lot of problems with QUALITY artwork. Personally, I prefer watching Super Robot Wars to Gundam but I like Gundam 00 the most.

Yeah rehash is okay but when the rehash goes wrongly thats what we can not accept. When i finish Gundam Seed i can still feel that this series is a good one however the moment i continue watching Destiny i just cannot accept that how a good stories from Seed could go down to the level of bleeeh.

For 00 well it was also a good one till they bring the so called alien..... since when alien exist in Gundam world? Gundam is more about conspiracy, political problem and different idealism facing each other. Well before i continue this rant it will be better i stopped here.

Just because Aliens have never appeared in Gundam doesn't mean it can't. 00 still addresses political problems and ethnic problems, Awakening of the Trailblazer addresses space exploration.

Look at Kamen Rider Decade, its the first series to have a woman as a Kamen Rider that doesn't die a violent death.
