Which type of character do you prefer?

What type of character is your favorite? There was so many types I couldn't write them all! Also tell us the character with the characteristics you prefer.

What's the difference between crazy and psychotic in your definition?

The one that can't fit into any predetermined category.

I want my character to have an unbreakable will even if he's against all odds.

I like my shy girls~

I like the hero's who are both courageous and idiot like. They rush into battle without giving it a though and always give it their all. Like Goku, Naruto, and Jaden Yuki.

From this list, I say psychotic, they often have interesting stories or development.

I voted for shy, but what I REALLY like is when they're shy AND perverted. ;L

I like characters who are believably human. Even if they possess supernatural powers or live in some ridiculous world, characters that can feel selfish, envious, unjustified feelings and more human qualities really stand out to me. Ideally I would like to see the character be dynamic enough in his/her story to go through major development. My favorite characters are the ones that you could pick out of their story, put them in our world and everyone would think they were born here to begin with.

I was mixed between 'outgoing' and 'clown', but eventually chose clown since it was the closest to my favorite type. I like the comic relief characters... the funny ones who always make you laugh, ease you from the seriousness of the situation a little. They usually tend to be awkward but good-hearted people who tend to talk too much for their own good, and those types of people are the kind I like best!

how about shy and perv? good combination?

I like my male characters to be the smart, tactical, witty kind. A good example would be Morita Kenichi from Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo.

As for females, I guess tsundere's would categorize as the shy types since they have a hard time expressing their feelings.

A related trait that really draws me to a character is the tendency to make statements that are only vague, theoretical conjectures in the world they live in, but are analogous/identical to approaches that people in the real world have towards current issues.

Strong, Bad ass girls are the best

If it's a girl, I like her to be Yandere or at least Tsundere.

If it's a guy, I like him to be like Zenkichi from Medaka Box.

Outgoing, stubborn, and strong. I have a pet peeve for male characters who are pussies.

I can enjoy pretty much any kind of character as long their developed well and they're not annoying as fuck. Though I won't lie, tsunderes get me every time. Even though they're overdone and present in most animes, I just can't help my love for them.

It's hard to pick just one, because I like characters to have a mix of traits. But, if I had to pick just one, I'd probably go with Clown.

Basically for the same reasons HappyDia01 stated. I like a fun comic relief character that just plain makes you laugh and lifts your spirits. I love comedy, so I feel any story is incomplete (to me) without one. As a result, a great deal of my own characters tend to drift towards being Clowns (or else being outright full-blown Clowns).

BUT, much respect to perv characters, gotta have some of that too. :3
