I picked shy, but only if that shyness isn't crippling. It's unbearable to watch if the shy character you've been rooting so hard for the whole time never blooms and gets past the main stumbling block in their shyness.

Male- the goofy idiot thats a bit of a perv that but is super reliable and strong when it counts.

Female- cute shy reserved, also the classic sohara(@ sora no otoshimono) like character

I prefer a confident character with intelligence that is at least as good as the reader. Today I read Reborn and I could not even facepalm myself over how utterly retarded Tsuna is. Seriously, he's the dumbest of all shonen protagonists, even more than Naruto at the beginning of the series. And Luffy, he's dumber than Luffy too.

My ideal character is defined by my waifu Excellen Browning and her expy/clones Xiaomu and Alfimi.
