[Shindou] Mating with Oni ~Mother Chapter~ (C91 Teaser)

Hey there guys! SHIKIMAYA PUBLISHING here again with some announcements on what to expect this holiday season!

In case you guys aren't already following us on our Twitter, we recently mentioned that we are proud to announce that our physical copies of Shindou's recently released Mating with Oni ~Daughter Chapter~ have arrived safely at FAKKU! headquarters! And what's more, included in the shipment is the yet-to-be-released Comiket 91 copy of Mating with Oni ~Mother Chapter~! All of this just waiting to be released after the doors close on Comiket 91 this December 31!



So yes, this is going up as a simulpub release!

But just how many copies are we talking about? Well, we have 20 copies of C90 Mating with Oni ~Daughter Chapter~ all of which are SIGNED COPIES!



For the Comiket 91 simulpub of Mating with Oni ~Mother Chapter~, we'll be offering 100 copies, only 20 of which are SIGNED COPIES!

Thanks for the heads up. I see above they mention FAKKU! has them on hand, but I'm unsure if they are just fulfilling distribution for them and the sale will be elsewhere or if FAKKU! will also be posting them for sale on the website. If FAKKU! is listing them for sale, they may wait until they are back from the holiday break to post them or they could do it remotely soon after the Comiket sale ends. I guess we will find out soon enough, unless Shikimaya or FAKKU! clues us in to an exact time beforehand.

I really love the artwork in this doujin series and would love to get my hands on a physical copy, censored as it may be, but I'm equally pumped for FAKKU! listing the uncensored digital version of the mother chapter soon.

Don't worry! Even though FAKKU is on break, our doujinshi is going to be uploaded today at 11:01 PM! (GMT -8) We're excited to see all this enthusiasm and we hope you all enjoy Shindou's new doujinshi!

To answer some questions that we saw, all sales-- digital and physical-- are going to be on the FAKKU store. The digital C90 daughter chapter is going to be 50% off its current price, and we have 20 physical signed copies for $29.95 each. The digital C91 mother chapter is going to be sold at $5.95, the 80 physical unsigned copies we have will be sold at $14.95, and our 20 signed copies will be sold at $29.95.

We're hoping this physical release goes well. If the fan reception is enough to justify importing physical doujinshi copies, we'll continue bringing them over. We're also thinking about printing English-language, uncensored copies, so depending on the fan response to these Japanese copies, we might be able to bring you not just physical doujinshi, but physical English-language uncensored copies!

This is a big test for us. We hope that everybody excited for these doujinshi can communicate their support to the artists who care so much about their Western fans to ship us copies and let us license their works.

Waiting for the daughter chapter to be available before I order. I'd hate to pay the $10 shipping twice. :(

I got in an order for the signed mother chapter as well, but still waiting on the daughter chapter to go up. Was hoping to combine shipping on them, though.

LOL the system gave me Fallen Prince digital instead of the oni mother chapter with the purchase... guess I will need to contact support. Did this happen to anyone else?

Ugh, I'm going to have to pay shipping twice, aren't I? That's like $14 CDN. I would have liked to get them both in the same order, but the longer I wait the better chance of these selling out. :(

I really hope next time they have a set like these, they make sure to put them up at the same time. To not do so is inconveniencing those outside the US, as shipping costs can be pretty costly. :/

Nope, missed out. Needless to say, I'm pretty disappointed.

I know I could have ordered them separately, but to pay $26+ dollars for shipping, when I could get it for half the cost, I wasn't prepared to do that. :(
